I don't think ManUtd really need him for what it's worth, although I do wonder where Liverpool will go with a full strength front line when they need to utilise Salah, Nunez, Diaz, Jota and Gakpo (and that's in a situation where Firmino is gone too). He'll suit them more than ManUtd for now I'd say but I don't think either team really need a player like him, I think ManUtd need someone that's more of an out-and-out 9 that can link up well enough, Liverpool need midfielders

My understanding is that Salah is on the way to Utd and Gakpo is the replacement. Don’t think either side will be disappointed tbh. Liverpool get a decent replacement for a player desperate to leave and Utd get decent competition for Rashford.
