Leeds v Man Utd team news: Sancho starts, Shaw at centre-back

After a busy Saturday of Premier League action, Double Gameweek 23 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) continues at 14:00 GMT, as Leeds United host Manchester United at Elland Road.

The teams played out an entertaining 2-2 draw just four days ago, with Wilfried Gnonto, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho on the scoresheet.

As for the all-important team news, Erik ten Hag makes three changes for the visitors, with Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia and Sancho coming in for Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Alejandro Garnacho.

Those changes suggest Luke Shaw will be deployed at centre-back alongside Maguire. Further forward, Sancho makes his first Premier League start since Gameweek 13, joining Bruno Fernandes, Rashford and Wout Weghorst in attack.

Caretaker manager Michael Skubala makes two alterations for Leeds. Pascal Struijk and Luis Sinisterra were both forced off in the first half at Old Trafford on Wednesday and subsequently miss out. They’re replaced by Junior Firpo and Crysensio Summerville, who has an impressive four goals and two assists in his last eight Premier League appearances.

    Bruno > Mahrez (-4) looks like it would have been the right decision at the end of the day, so have to hide behind the sofa for two games now - but I'll happily take that unexpected Shaw haul.

        Yeah he had chances - shots needed to be better. Annoyingly I'll probably sill get a City midfielder in time for 25, but want confident to lock into Mahrez yet.

    VAR at it again. I know it didnt matter in terms of the result but again that Weghorst goal should have stood. The ball quite clearly came off the defender and not Maguire meaning it cant be offside. The incompetence is just bewildering.

      I agree, may sound like conspiracy talking, but Am i the only one that sometimes feel VAR take their time to create the scenario that works for them, which is why we dont see all the footage they review and they only show the line at the end of the process. It's like they pick the footage that works for the decision

    Early days with the decision making for DGW23 but decided Tark over Akanji as part of a hit and would have benched Shaw's 12 pointer if I went with Akanji....though I'm still on a red arrow haha

      I don't think we've got the depth for a genuine challenge. I think going far in Europa and FA Cup wont help. Sabitzer nowhere near filling the Casemiro/Eriksen sized hole in the middle

    Can't complain about good decisions that went bad. Double Newcastle defence and Shaw on the bench was the right decision that went the wrong way. And to be honest, Shaw was fairly fortunate to have a clean sheet. Some you win some you lose

        Bruno is more expensive, he needs to go. I plan to keep Shaw, Trippier and Rash. Believe that they are genuinely better assets besides being cheaper.
