In case you missed it yesterday, a brief bit of fixture news to bring you this Tuesday morning.

Brighton and Hove Albion v Crystal Palace will stay in Gameweek 27, meaning that both sides still ‘double’ in that Fantasy Premier League (FPL) match round as planned.

A rail strike put paid to the initial staging of the M23 derby back in September and, typically, another round of union action is now arranged for the original rescheduled date of Thursday 16 March.

Any threat (however minimal) of the fixture being moved to another Gameweek later in the season has now evaporated, however, as the match has simply been brought forward by 24 hours after the Premier League approved Brighton’s request.

The Seagulls and the Eagles will now meet on Wednesday 15 March, the same night that Southampton v Brentford takes place.

GAMEWEEK 27 FIXTURES

The April TV fixtures are expected to be announced any time now, although it isn’t thought that the ‘doubles’ in Gameweek 29 will be put in place at that point.

Would you sell Bueno to Tarkowski for a hit?

Probably not for a hit unless you plan on playing him in future GWs.

    Is dalot nailed on?

Umming and ahhing about whether to lose the value I have tied up in shaw to get a defender in this week but if dalot’s nailed isn’t he a cheaper and actually nearly better option than shaw? x

Difficult to say when AWB played well when Dalot was out. Shaw can play LB and LCB and is on most set pieces with Eriksen out until end of April.

If he's not injured then I'd say he is nailed.

Banked the profit made on Shaw and looking to bring Dalot in myself later on when the Utd blanks are done and it's the right time to jump back on Utd's defence

Think he's still clear 1st choice since he's so much better on the ball than AWB, but he might see more rotation than Shaw given that they're still in 4 competitions & are likely to have a particularly heavy schedule. I'm selling Shaw this week but not too sure at the moment whether to go for Shaw/Dalot when I bring back a defender in 29/30

Shaw playing the Trent/Trippier role ever since Eriksen went out. He's on most set pieces now.

I thought so a few weeks ago but to be honest I've now revised my stance.

I think AWB rotates in more than once in a while. The fact he started against Barcelona says a lot. Would avoid Dalot personally.

Rashford to Salah a no brainer?

Only way I have to get Salah and have the funds in the bank.

Wouldn’t make a big loss on Rashford so could buy him back when needed.

The concept is fine, a doubler for a blanker, but you need to add context. The blanking player is Rashford and you'll likely want him back in 26.

Selling the league's and possibly Europe's most in form player is never a no brainer.

Would probably look at alternative ways of trying to bring in Salah

I see it as using 2 FT to get two good games of Salah rather than 0 of Rashford.

        Alternative is just ignoring Salah.

Interesting responses all - thank you.

Have to say I’m surprised but maybe I’ve just got DGW fever.

I struggle to see how Rashford to Salah and then reversing doesn’t pay off.

Even if you count the 2nd transfer as a -4 it means anything Salah gets above appearance points is a bonus no?

If you've got no other issues in your team then go for the rash>Salah>rash hokey cokey

Fpl is all about getting points, so if that's what you think gets you more points.. go for it

Only Tarkowski and Salah appeal to me from the doublers.

I agree with you - was quite surprised to read the responses! Replacing a player with no game with a DGW player who is potentially coming into form against two teams who've kept only 11 CS between them all season seems like a good decision. Especially as you can get Rashford back again next week.

I'm definitely moving Rashford out for GW25.

If you like to take chances dropping Rashford is not a bad move. Then bring him in for DGW29. Since he`s ownerish is close to 50% you can get some huge gains.

    A or B

    A) KDB + Laporte + shaw --> Salah + TAA + Tarkowski = -8

    OR

    B) KDB + Laporte --> Salah + Robbo (0.1m short of TAA) = -4
    - B would mean starting Patterson

Best way to free up funds in my team:

    A) KDB > Gakpo
    B) Kane > Darwin

I have no Liverpool players and some 3.9m defenders with no fixtures that need to be moved on this week. Unfortunately I have no routes to Salah so it’s one of the above plus TAA.

    Urgh,

    A bit lost here...

    0.3ITB:

    Kepa
    Gabriel Bueno
    KDB Saka Andreas
    Nketiah Kane Haaland

    Blankers: Rashford, Tripps, Shaw, Schar.

Thinking of doing Kane + Almiron + Schar to Darwin + Gakpo + Tark for -4...

Funds are a bit awry. Could maybe play the free hit and just go all out with Eve/Liv/Ars/Wol players.

Although Almiron would be top of the list to replace, I think the lack of viable replacements (seen your post about Iwobi/Neves below too) make that the hardest spot to deal with this week. So maybe just Kane & Schär - TAA & Darwin would be better if you really want to get in on Liverpool? FH would be a bit of a waste here imo with 9 starters (8 good ones) & 2 FTs

Sorry but anyone watched Arsenal last 3 games would agree Nketiah has been far from decent.

        Help yourself anyway 🙂

Well it depends if you watch through fpl lens or watch closely as a fan. If you are one who gauges players on how many fpl points or goals they score then he has been far from decent. But the boy is good and i can see a haul around the corner.

Agreed, his confidence looks shot to me. Has missed some BIG chances.

I am tempted to get Iwobi in for Almiron for a hit, wcgw!

Most I will lose is 2pts... could gain a good chunk if he suddenly goes berserk.

If Mitrović is out, would you take a hit here to field 11 or play with this 10?

After my planned transfer KDB>Salah, team would look like this:

    Ederson
    GABRIEL, TARKOWSKI, BUENO
    SALAH, ODEGAARD, MARTINELLI, Andreas
    Kane, Haaland, Mitrović*

    Ward, Rashford, Shaw, Trippier

Stick. I have 11 with Mitrovic and 10 is fine if he misses out.

If I do KDB and Shaw to Salah and Tark as planned our starting 11's will be identical and I'm thinking Mitro to Watkins for a hit. He's in form, has 4 blue fixtures upcoming including in blank GW28.

I seem to remember Klopp was playing 4-2-3-1 when all his attackers were fit. He only changed when he didn't have enough attackers. Anyone think he might just play all 4 of Jota Darwin Gakpo Salah from now on?

Certainly possible. I think if Darwin is playing the central role he's more likely to have a no10 in behind him; less so with Gakpo/Firmino

    Havertz keep or sell?

    A) KEEP
    -------------------------------------------------------
+ Chelsea plays Leeds and Leicester in next three weeks
+ Doesn't have a blank game week until I use WC
+ Leicster and Leeds are the teams that allow you to counter so finally may see some goals from Chelsea imo

    - it's Chelsea that scored only one goal this month
    - it's Havertz
    --------------------------------------------------------

    B) SELL
    -------------------------------------------------------
+ Watkins or Nacho in good form
+ Watkins too doesn't have a blank GW

    - have to be for a hit
    - fixtures of Watkins or Nacho aren't that good until I use WC
    --------------------------------------------------------

The Railway Derby goes ahead! Do you just like Mitoma/March + Toney from these sides or possible Mee/Estupinan also?

          Probably Toney or none

If Chelsea show good form by then I will keep Havertz for the Leicster game in the same week, if not will get Toney for a hit.

But I really like the fixtures, two of the in-form teams. May even BB by taking a hit or two.

I'll be on Raya, Estupinan, Mitoma, plus Toney (suspension permitting) and an outside chance of another BHA mid
