I was considering the same (JWP over Mac Allister). And it was a close call. So, checked the fixtures:
JWP: LEI / mun / BRE / TOT
Mac10: WHU / lee / CRY / --
adding team strength to the decision making process and concluded, that Mac Allister will likely outscore JWP by min 4 points in GW26/27
Bonus: I will spend that 4 points to get a mid, that plays better fixture in GW28 than JWP (TOT) or I will simply play with one player less
