There’s one more Gameweek 26 match to go and it’s a pretty big one for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers.

Brentford v Fulham is the fixture in question, with kick-off set for 20:00 GMT.

Four Brentford assets boast ample ownership in the top 10k (see below) – Ivan Toney, David Raya, Ben Mee and Rico Henry – and all of them are part of Thomas Frank’s starting XI tonight.

The only change from the side that started in Gameweek 24 sees Mikkel Damsgaard come in for Josh Dasilva, who drops to the bench.

He sits alongside Pontus Jansson and Frank Onyeka, who return as substitutes after recovering from respective hamstring injuries.

As for Fulham, they make three alterations from the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Sasa Lukic comes in for the suspended Joao Palhinha, while Manor Solomon and Aleksandar Mitrovic replace Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Carlos Vinicius in attack.

GAMEWEEK 26 LINE-UPS

Brentford XI: Raya, Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry, Norgaard, Damsgaard, Jensen, Mbeumo, Wissa, Toney

Subs: Cox, Schade, Dasilva, Onyeka, Jansson, Ajer, Baptiste, Janelt, Roerslev

Fulham XI: Leno, Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson, Reed, Lukic, Willian, Pereira, Solomon, Mitrovic

Subs: Rodak, Wickens, Tosin, Wilson, Cedric, De Cordova-Reid, James, Vinicius, Harris

How much would you say a free hit is worth at this point in the season?

Yeah. If you can use it in a gameweek where it adds several doublers that you don't really wany after that specific GW, it can gain a lot.

At the same time, avoiding hits and playing less than 11 players in GW28 is a certain source of points

35 points on the wildcard this week. Only 1 fewer than my pre WC team. Think that just means I’m rubbish at this haha.

      33 from 11 & 15 from 3 on the bench, ouch.

33 here, benched Mitoma and no bench points from Sanchez (which means basically -4 later).

    Please:

    Raya
    Trippier, Mee, Estupiñán
Saka, Ødegaard, Maddison, Rashford, Mitoma (c)
    Haaland, Kane

    Ward / Watkins, Gabriel, Burn

    £2.7 in the bank.

    A. Save?
    B. Maddison to MacAllister?
    C. Watkins to Toney? Then who to bench? Bench boost, or keep original plan — BB 29?

I'd say they should be ranked higher getting to have a Wildcard every week, although we all know how that can go 😉

(I appreciate they have a budget, plus may not get auto-subs?)

That's pretty average for free hitting every week. Not a dig - not saying they don't know anything, or aren't engaged experts at this - just more shows how ridiculous this game is if you're measuring anything on a single weeks result. Too much variance.

So... who let's see the damage between your WC team and your GW25 tem.

I got 60 points this week but if I had held off on WC and done Nketiah + Mahrez > Toney + Mitoma (my planned transfers) I'd have gotten 85 (-4) for 81. Lost 21 points on WC.

And I consider myself very lucky this week...

Gained 11 points by delaying WC by a GW and would have had Sanchez as one of my Brighton if I WC'ed GW26.

64 points Camzy very good for this GW26 but totally understand your annoyed not going with your gut but twitter/scout & other experts advice to WC this week - should still yield a Green Arrow

Think I am 25 points down. Salah, Robertson, Gakpo, White out and MacAllister 14 on my bench!

      Wildcard: 49
      Pre-WC: 74 (Toney my FT)

I was highly, highly considering Salah > Martinelli/Odegaard (-4) for that BOU fixture, which would have been an effective -23, which would have put my score at 51.

So all in all I think I'd have done pretty similarly either way. Got a green arrow this week - it's its not often I'll get to say that having 0 players from the team that trounced an opponent 7-0.

Im just glad I spoke about the WC not necessarily being the best choice for everyone ahead of the week! Only pulled the trigger due to James/Bueno and friends getting injured.

      Lost 34, without trades.

If I'd completely forgotten my team and left Salah (c), I lose 51.

Didn't go big on Pool the week before and the planned Salah out being the reasons. Plus set up nicely now for the coming gameweeks, if for the benching headaches.

Lost 20 points assuming Bueno to Estupinan. It’s painful to have Salah, Nunez and Gakpo in the bad times and not reap the rewards. Still, pretty happy with 55 and will stand by DGW players over Liverpool against Bournemouth

Thoughts on 3rd Brentford? (Will get Haaland back GW30)

    a) Haaland -> Toney
    b) Ederson -> Raya

    Ederson
    Mee - Trippier - Estupinan
    Bruno - Rashford - Saka - Mitoma
    Haaland - Kane - Mbeumo

    Ward - Odegaard - Shaw - White 0.2m ITB

Money no issue with getting Haaland back then A

Personally I'd keep Haaland and sell Kane for Toney. That would mean leaving Raya as Brentford don't keep many clean sheets.

Even though Kane has Forest at home and Southampton in next 2 whereas Haaland has just Palace away. Hmm not so sure about that call. On paper Kane should easily outscore Haaland.

True, Kane has Southampton and Forest, but if Wolves can keep a clean sheet against Spurs, then so can Forest. Plus I had Kane when Spurs played Southampton in Gwk 1 and he scored a whopping 2 points. He may score a goal here and there but I want more from someone who costs 11.7m.

Hope you’re right. Would love Forest to do week at the spuds. Unfortunately I think they will get smashed.

Who to bench this GW? Currently thinking Martinelli.

Mitoma, March, Rashford, Saka, Martinelli, Haaland, Kane or Toney.

I'd bench Kane. In fact, I've already sold him.

As a Forest fan I can’t tell you how bad they are away from home. Even a poor team like west Han stuck 4 past us and could have been more than that. Kane and Son could run riot.

Between Martinelli and Kane. I have a similar dilemma with Ode and Kane. Currently benching Ode but doesn't feel right

    A) Play Martinelli
    B) Sell Martinelli for Salah for -4

    Which one?

Interesting, although Liverpool do have an easier fixture. Plus Salah looks to be back to his explosive best.

Would love some thoughts - no WC. Still have FH and BB.

    Ederson
    Gabriel, TAA, Tarkowski
    Salah, Saka, Odegaard, Rashford, MacAllister
    Haaland, Darwin

    Ward, Gnonto, Botman, Bueno
    2FT 0.5itb.

    Considering;

Odegaard & Bueno > Mitoma & Estupinan (bench Tark)

I need to try and get Toney in, not sure if its worth a hit or should i play my wildcard?

    This is my team:

    Kepa
    TAA / White / Trippier
    Salah / Saka / Rashford / Mitoma
    Kane / Haaland / Watkins

    Ward, Tarko, Andreas. beuno*

    A. Watkins + Bueno --> Toney + 3.8 defender
    B. Play wildcard?

Still the best option from here when considering fixtures through to 34, the fact he has a good fixture in the BGW, doubles in 29, will have another double to come and has attacking upside

Botman if you are worried about the flag, there will be a press conference before next GW anyway

Yes true they may have another double forgot about that, might go with Botman yes. Cheers
