In case you missed the announcement shortly before the lunchtime kick-off at Craven Cottage: the only two outstanding Premier League fixtures without a date have been rescheduled, slotting into Double Gameweek 37 as expected.

The matches in question are Brighton and Hove Albion v Manchester City and Manchester United v Chelsea, creating doubles for all four sides.

The other 16 top-flight teams only play once in Gameweek 37.

This follows an announcement on Thursday that Newcastle United v Brighton and Hove Albion now slots into Double Gameweek 36.

More reaction and analysis will follow in the coming days.

Had planned WC33 and TC34, but I feel WC is not imperative with this team. Thoughts?

    Kepa
    Trippier -- Chilwell - Estupinán
    Saka -- Rashford -- Grealish -- Mitoma
    Watkins -- Haaland -- Kane

    Iversen -- MacAllister -- Shaw -- White [1FT + 2.1m ITB]

Changes I would make on WC (Watkins --> Jota would be done in GW34):

      Kepa -- Chilwell -- Saka -- MacAllister -- Kane -- Watkins

      Steele -- TAA -- Martinelli -- Salah -- Jota -- Solanke

But WC'ing this week allows for a TC to be used in 34.

I’ve pressed the button, don’t see a better time.

Can set up nicely for 34, a good 34 team is good in 35 and 36 is too late for me.

Pretty good FH week 75 points with Kane to go absolutely buzzing, up to 120k now, thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice during the week too! Planning ahead for the DGW34. Would it best to play my WC now this week or next week (I’ve also a semi final tie for a cash cup in 33) Here’s my team:

    1FT, 3.6ITB
    Kepa
    Shaw Estu Trippier
    Grealish Rashford Martinelli Saka
    Watkins Kane Haaland(C)
    Subs: Iversen Mitoma White Mee

Thinking Kane & Mee to Trent & Jota (-4)

    Thanks a lot guys!

      Saw you bottomed, but here;
"That's huge man! 75 points and 120K points and not even all out! Love to see it.

I think that transfer makes sense. Who do you bench for Trent? Don't want Mitoma on the pitch vs NFO?"

      I'd WC now.
      1) Kepa > ?
      2) x3 MCI
      3) x2 ARS (max, maybe x1)
      4) x3 BHA
      5) x2 MUN
      6) x2 LIV
      7) x1 CRY or NEW
Oh, and play Mitoma in 33

Dias has played 90 in the last 8 of the PL plus the 4 CL knock out games.

Nailed or another false dawn for the City defence?

Think I might wait until 34 to bring him in.

Recent weeks have put me off Ederson so it’s tricky to pick 3 City.

What's your rough with the smooth this week? Feel free to vent or brag below!

    Mine has to be choosing;
    Moreno over Mitchell (-4)
    Jesus over Saka (-11)
Watkins blank but Toney return (why people actually opted for Toney is beyond me)

    Smooth;
Returns from Trent & Robbo, even if they weren't mega points it helped!
Johnstone doing the business as expected

Kane & Bowen to go with a 9% green arrow. Up into the top 500K for the first time this season (468K post subs). Just 80 points off top 100K now!

    1. Wirtzel Gummidge
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 10 months ago

Rough: Andreas and Castagne 20 points on bench!
      Smooth: 65 points + Bowen/Zouma, inside 300k for now.

    2. Fellaini's Fro
      • 12 Years

      Rough:
      Jesus over Jota
      Bowen over Martinelli
      Alison over Johnstone

Smooth: Andreas coming off the bench for Maddison makes it a green arrow (whew) 51 pts with Kane and Bowen to play.

      Rough:
      Playing Moreno instead of Guehi.
      Buying Odegaard instead of Saka.
      Buying Watkins instead of Toney.

      Smooth:
      Buying Jota instead of Gakpo.
      67pts + Trippier(yawn), up to 151k.

What score are the free hitters on?

60(-4) here for a none hit team

You reckon gw34 free hitters will score more than the regular teams?

I think that score is very good for a chip-less GW!

To answer your final question, you will only hear of those FH'ers who scored more than that. You won't hear of many who scored less.

The non free hitters have got off quite easy so far I'd say the way everything's gone with a few exceptions e.g. Johnstone. Could have been some big gaps if e.g. Jesus/Gakpo had converted their chances.

The points difference between my non-FH team and the FH template was missing Johnstone's return, plus taking (-4) to get Salah© and Guéhi. Three to play.

I think the main reason to FH32 wasn't to gain points this week, but to preserve teams that are already quite well set up for DGW34 and beyond. Such teams would have had a number of players blanking this week so playing the FH was as much about avoiding losses as making gains.

I’m now priced out of Dias and Stones so might need to play the Ake/Akanji lottery which ain’t great.

If I had the money I’d get Stones first, Dias second

    1. Sheffield Wednesday
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 10 months ago

Yes Dias is as close to nailed as you can get with a City defender (most likely to play both legs of a double) but Stones has greater upside when he completes 60 minutes which is irregular.

B but not dalot for sure. I’d go Schar for future doubles or something, or get Ddg in goal and Schar/Botman in def if possible.

I just did my WC, and my team atm is the same as yours (except Dias over Stones).

For your XXXs, I had DDG, Schar, Salah and Solanke.

But as for your specific question, that's tough. The guys in A are pretty nailed. In B, I worry about Dalot and Isak. But my guess is you really want to fit Salah in.

Assuming you mean TC, then GW34. No CL before it or after until the midweek after GW35 and City in a very good place. Only worry is if he's lost pens to Mahrez now, not ideal timing at all

He's caused me pain for some time now so I'm feeling a bit calmer since earlier today. Don't think he's joining my team now. Isak has been my No.1 replacement for Toney if the ban/suspension happened but now considering Welbeck, given the BHA fixture run-in.

Too team dependent. If you'll have 8+ doublers for GW34 than I'd TC Haaland than, and FH in GW37

Based on your reply above, assuming you'd switch this the other way round now?

Would you swap Bruno with Grealish?

Bruno great for the team, but bad fantasy wise.

I reckon Bruno is gonna haul big in the next few weeks. I have a feeling his chances created will turn to goals.

Looks like city could put a few past Arsenal, Haaland in, captain a must

Difficult to justify selling Saka / Martinelli though

    1) Kane to Haaland , ft

    2) Above and Saka to Rashford -4

    3) 1 above and Saka to Grealish -4

    4) Kane to Haaland, Saka and Andreas to Rashford and Grealish -- 8, exact funds, bench Martinelli

Then decide what to do with Martinelli in 34, keep or sell for Bri mid, Bruno...

Marti could be a keeper for rest of season , better than dgw options

On WC with BB still to play, what's the ideal front 8?

Currently on Salah, KDB, Rashford, March, Andreas.
Haaland and then I'm undecided on the remaining strikers.

If BB in GW34 I'd include Jota and maybe Welbeck. Toney/Isak if you are ok with single GW player

Jota(c) probably out due to Maddison missing out and not on FH.

On 61 after subs with Trippier and Kane left so hoping might scrape through again. Enjoy this competition, thanks.

    Before the price changes
    Kane > Jota
    Zinch > TAA

    Then for gw34
    Martinelli > Rashford

    Yay/nay?
