Mids could be week. Jota a good pick if he plays but too much choice for that position. IMO Darwin a better pick ATM. 1.5 save to up grade Mitoma or Mb just in case.

It’s probably the best overall team I’ve seen. For me it’s too much $ on the bench but if you’re playing the rotation and it comes off you’ll be well ahead of me.

If you are playing 442, Watkins is the safe bet… however, if it’s 3 on the top, Nkunku is a differential pick and can spend the 0.5 elsewhere… personally, I am with Nkunku with 343 currently..

I'm back on Jesus up top, at the expense of Nkunku. I've decided the opening 3 Arsenal fixtures swings it for me - after that I'll have seen enough of Darwin and Nkunku so that even with price rises, I'll be able to sideways Jesus to someone more exciting.

It’s a sensible call, I think we need to see a few Chelsea games first to know who is going to be the point producer.

correct decision, Jesus can occasionally haul big too, it wouldn't surprise me if he were to do that against Forest but then gradually taper off

      1. Andy_Social
        • 14 Years

It's not so much the lineup, but who hits the ground running. I've got 2 "You know what you get talismen" in Haaland and Watkins; for the third Jesus seems a safer bet than Nkunku who's new to the PL and Darwin, who's new to 'possibly being good but we don't know yet'.

Just my take after watching all the CHE matches in the USA tourney.
          Jackson is my bet.
With Haaland and Watkins up front.
Saka & Ode/Marty + Saliba for my ARS trois

            • 14 Years

That was my last draft, actually. I hovered between Nkunku and Jackson, but my current feeling is I was being too seduced by preseason form, and we know that often fails to translate into PL form. But it's only 2-3 GWs before I will feel I've seen enough in real action to make the switch from Jesus to whoever.

Players face harsher punishments for bad behaviour under new FA rules - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66359526
