Fantasy Football Scout have once again teamed up with the popular GoalScorer Challenge competition this season.

We will be giving away a Premium Membership to the best manager every month to go with the game’s £500 top prize for the campaign’s overall winner.

If you have not played before, GoalScorer Challenge is a very simple and free game. Every week you pick one player from the Premier League who you think is most likely to score. The more goals that player racks up, the more points you get. But pick wisely, as you can only select each player once per season. 

There are three types of Gameweeks:

  • Premier League – Most weekends there will be a full round of league fixtures which will all be included. There are no Double Gameweeks in this game but midweek games are generally included in a separate Gameweek.
  • International – During international breaks, you still have to pick a Premier League player, but for their country. This season includes six international weeks.
  • Cup â€“ On FA Cup weekends, you are again limited to players playing for Premier League teams. The EFL Cup final will also be included as it will take place alongside a regular round of Premier League matches.

GSC is free to play and it only takes a minute to enter each week. You can create mini-leagues and play against your mates, too.

    Imagine if the 6.5 mids all starts firing + Kane leaves and Richarlison becomes nailed CF + Bowen starts firing.

    You could have a very high scoring five man midfield for 33,5m.

    Is everyone just expecting de bruyne not to play then? Seems very well priced at 10.5 and could be a perfectly good option over Salah, allowing you to still get a good second striker and not field any dodgy rotation possibilities (I'm looking at you João Pedro)

      Shouldn't have that much money tied up in goalies imo, rotating keepers never works. Mitoma for the 6.5, quite a balsy double differential of Maddison and diaby so would stick to the guy with great fixtures

      I’m not sure bout Maddison. I was on him for a while but hasn’t done much in preseason albeit he’s in a new team, new system etc but I think he’s one to watch. For your other 6.5 I’d say Mitoma but I’m keeping an eye on Bernardo Silva in the community shield

    How deep is your bench to start the season?

    0) All fodder (cheapest available in each spot)
    1) 4.5M defender usually benched + fodder
    2) 12 starters in rotation
    3) 13 starters in rotation
    4) BB squad or 14/15 in rotation

              "Usually benched" is option #1. If he starts in rotation then it's #2 (12 in rotation). It doesn't matter if you don't understand the options as I understand where your answer belongs, thanks.

      I think 3 reasons:
      He hasn't overly impressed in preseason
      Liverpool's defence still looks shonky
      In Slobby and Mac A, Liverpool have 2 creative assets ahead of him in midfield so the team is less dependent on his passing.

    4.0 (Turner?) - Cash(/Colwill/Udogie) - 4.5 - 4.5

    Planning to cap Mo in gw2 and then move him and a 4.5 fwd to maybe Son/Bruno+Nkunku/Jesus/Watkins. Been on 3-4-3 with NoMo until the injuries for Jesus and Nkunku forced me to tinker a bit. Capping a relatively low owned Salah on gw2 just feels like a massive opportinity.

    Thoughts appreciated. Anyone else considering something similar?

      Was the same but now have Pickford and Baldock instead of Johnstone and Tark leaving 0.5m ITB (or to spend on a 5.0m forward sub), without that we are likely to be priced out of the Salah & 4.5m (or 5.0 sub) to Son and Watkins (or Jesus) move.

    Currently on a 451 with a 4.5 defender as sub.

    Happy with it, but at the same time feels boring and at some point would probably want another striker or 2.

    I guess that's what the WC is for
