Most people are pretty good at writing, when a differential captain pays off or when they hit +100 in a GW with an average of 75.

I used BB this GW with both Stones & Gabriel... What a start!

Crappy chip anyway. Always feels like you spend more points getting rid of the BB-players or bringing them in than the chip actually returns.

Atleast now I can focus on starting XI the next 37 GWs 😀

        WC GW2 gonna be good!

Arteta is going in with a new 3-2-4-1 formation that is exactly what Pep used last night. It was fascinating to see the players interchanging positions for City - I'm really looking forward to seeing how Arsenal compares with that.

This seems to be the go to attacking shape these days:

      White Saliba Timber
      ......Partey Rice.......
      ......Ode Havertz.....
      Saka Nket Martinelli

A defensive unit of 5, and an attacking unit of 5. White and Timber may still wander forwards in this shape.

Football is so fluid now, we can't really restrict a player to a single position, their roles are different in different phases of play. Fun to watch.

If Arsenal are copying City's formation it will be interesting to see the impact on Nketiah. With City, Haaland as an out-and-out goal scorer didn't fully fit in at first, although he scored loads, and the change in formation allowed City to still dominate as they did with a false 9, but also have Haaland focus on scoring goals (although he did a great job as a sort of false 9 against Arsenal). I wonder if it will play to Nketiah's strengths as more or a finisher than all rounder.

    1. Andy_Social
      • 13 Years

Nketiah is a weal spot, but then Haaland only had a handful of touches, so maybe it won't be fatal.
