Tottenham Hotspur head to Brentford on Sunday, with kick-off at 2pm BST.

Harry Kane and Ivan Toney are, of course, absent, but there is still plenty of intrigue, with Ange Postecoglou taking charge of his first competitive Spurs match.

As for the all-important team news, Richarlison leads the Spurs line, with Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie and James Maddison all making their debuts.

David Raya is on his way to Arsenal, so Mark Flekken starts in goal for Brentford, while Bryan Mbeumo – passed fit in Friday’s presser – joins Yoane Wissa up front in Thomas Frank’s 3-5-2 formation.

Ben Mee is absent with a minor injury, so Nathan Collins makes his competitive debut at the back.

    Eze suffers from playing in the worst side particularly from an attacking perspective of the 6.5m options so him creating is a bit like Bruno creating for Weighorst last season. Palace had the 2nd worst failed to score record in the league last season with Zaha in the side.

    Eze is a decent shout, regardless of Mbeumo. I guess he was also one way of somewhat finding a differential. Personally, I liked Eze for a while, and was always going to be a consideration in my team this season.
    
    He didn't return yesterday, but he didn't do bad.

  fwiw, i like the rules, we just want consistency and not to be a flash in the pan for the 1st few weeks and vanish. it should have been curbed ages ago, especially 6 second gk rule which is so annoying.
