I expect spurs score vs Manu, but Onana will probably get save points, that seems realistic to me. Playing Turner, you get no save points probably, and just praying for a CS for 100 mins.

I think you misunderstood the quote in my post (which is written poorly by whoever wrote it). It's saying that Poch changed his starting eleven before kick-off. ie after he saw Liverpool's line-up he switched to a back five, removing Mudryk and putting Disasi in his place.

The implication being that wingnuts who leak sensitive information about player injuries and tactics for the sake of fpl can influence how the opposition lines up. This will end badly for them.

Hmm what was the big shock in Liverpool's lineup that made Poch change his mind after preparing his team all week?

                • 9 Years
                2 years, 8 months ago

No idea. Don't even know if it's true. The point is that knowing who your opponents are and aren't playing with can influence how a club lines up. And the people leaking the information for fpl purposes are thick as a brick.

I don't believe it is. I remember a year ago getting into a spat with the FFS Pros over this - it's a legacy view which the evidence just didn't bear out, and it doesn't now.
Just look at this gameweek 3 H, 3 D, 3A. The clear deciding factor is not home or away but the higher-ranked team v the lower--ranked team.
I will play the fixtures and the quality of the opposition will be my guide, never the venue.

Over the season home fixtures is a distinct advantage when all clubs play each other.

This week is a one week sample and i hear Everton had a reasonable goal disallowed, but i haven't seen it yet.

Look at league 2 - from what I recall no away win on Saturday.

I'm thinking of benching Foden (NEW) next week and playing Eze (ARS) and Bowen (CHE).

I wasn't that impressed by Foden, and he is a minute risk, also City have a mid-week fixture so need to see if he starts there. Bowen scored, Eze had a lot of attempts, and both are London Derbys, so a bit more competition then normal.

Sound logic? Or am i being stupid 😀

Foden was unplayable & also assisted Alvarez

Can we get a hot topic telling Gabriel owners to keep him?

Slim to none. There's a few million players who will make transfers for 4 or 5 weeks before giving up and the thing settles down.

Do the masses even consider fixtures when doing their knee-jerk transfers? Isak away at City next week.

They look at the top scorers in the GW only. So shallow! I mean, 2nd top incomer is Rodri!

Each profile should have a casual switch, if your profile is a casual one then any transfers you make don’t affect price changes lol

Think early transfers are based more on what's just happened and later transfers focus more on the next game. Possibly

He didn’t do a lot today & Darwin is lurking, 50-50

I own him too but will probably keep one more week as he could still come on & do something

Tempted to get Diaz even for a one week punt but may look stupid if Jota starts, tough

I don't expect Darwin to be starting anytime soon. From what I've gleaned of preseason & Klopp's pressing comments, it seems like he's still seen as a work in progress. Gakpo 9 with Jones in is possible, but now appears a bit of a defensive looking change if Mac is trusted as a 6 away at Chelsea

Remember when team value was a thing? People were making early transfers to catch price rises stressing everyone out. Much better now

I don't think I'm convinced to buy Salah for BOU for a -4.

My team is much nicer if I just do KdB > Diaz. Gives me money to upgrade my fodder to Nick Jackson for GW3 which seems like a good idea based on that performance. Fairly impressed with Chelsea.

I am glad i bought him and then will sell him on as I need to upgrade or Bench Pedro at times.

There is a rational for keeping Salah for GW2 and sell.

Unless injury news, I think i will stick with this.

How did Richarlison look please? (Been at work all day). Is Maddison a better option? I need to correct my Trossard mistake! Which of Richarlison or Maddison is better option. Thanks

People purely picking Rich for the position he occupies and ignoring what is in front of their eyes. Maddison the clear pick at the moment.

Rich was so so so bad! Maddison was phenomenal - he's the only spurs asset worth having.

Just got back from the game. The width that Son and Kulu maintained throughout the game was stark and created huge pockets of play for Maddison and one of Udogie and Royal. Everything seemed to come through Maddison and I expect this to continue.

However, I think it's worth remembering that first team shape training would have been with Kane and now Richarlison will be heavily worked into the system to find a way for him to do more than just occupy CBs.

TLDR; Maddison if I was picking now, but ideally a hold and wait and see as Richarlison for 7.0 could be better, just not on today's showing.

Richarl just wasn't making those moves that Kane would - but was that him or Posty's instructions.
Do you think they'll get a better forward in before the window shuts?
