Double Villa defence on the cards for me, Digne and Cash. Hopefully it does not go south but attacking returns and cleans sheets are possible. Will have to keep some £'s aside just incase Dinge gets flogged to the bench once Moreno is match fit.

Wouldn't you want to save a spot for Diaby and Watkins for GW8

Have Bowen so no room in midfield for Diaby. Watkins I will look at again but can't see myself taking out Alvarez at this point.

Emery went and got Moreno last year, because he was not a big fan of Digne’s playing. Digne has played well this year, but would be surprised if Moreno not Bach starting very soon, shortly after international break. He was expected back late August, so should be match fit in a couple of weeks.

Digne is a troll for FPL and Real World Coaches. Would not be surprised if he had a great season. It's only a 4.5M punt.

Seems Barcelona had high transfer standards when Digne played for them. Now Barcelona collect marginal kids. Even garbage talent like Wolves FC Traore, Braithwaite, and Sergi Dest have worn their jersey. Shameful. My Milan started collecting trash, now they are trash.

I don't own Digne, but I would like to have have him over some mutts that I do have, like Gabriel. I am trapped with this dude.

Had both Saliba and Gabriel in GW1. I was thinking of getting Gabriel back because he is a decent option and price has dropped but think I am going to call it a miss just incase Arteta decides he wants to be clever again.

I agree, it's the doubling up on Villa with those fixtures that I don't think is a great idea, especially over other defenders that may have attacking returns.

Not saying that Villa defenders have any less chance of attacking returns but I have Chilwell, Estupiñán & Henry ... going to roll with them and not chop and change to ensure I don't miss the odd goal or assist which can pop up against any team, but will rotate Henry with Botman for fixtures which no doubt will back fire 🙂

I am waiting to see what the story is with Spurs. Only asset from them I have is Vicario. My plan was to punt on Johnson up to GW7 to decide who to pick from Maddison and Son but will make that decision before deadline as I also want Mbeumo.

Getting my defence sorted more of an issue as well so Maddison and or Son can wait.

        I'm think B or C

Looking at the fixtures....united have Burnley and Palace in 6 and 7 when spurs have arsenal and Liverpool

So maybe best to make the move after that in time for spurs v luton....

Seems unlikely, but wouldn’t be shocked if Richarlison starts next game. Although he has been poor, it is better for Spurs, long term, to get him going. Part of the reason he didn’t start last game is that he wasn’t 100% fit as he picked up a slight ankle knock in the mid week game. Johnson will provide competition for Kulusevski who has been pretty poor as well to be fair.

I just don't see it. One factor that's been wholly overlooked by every post I've seen and YouTube I've watched is the form of Manor Solomon. He plays the Posty wide winger role to perfection, far better than Son does. That indicates to me that Son has to play #9, Solomon LW with Kulu and Johnson probably sharing RW duties. There's simply no role for Rich other than as a late substitute.

I am relieved to be rid of Jackson. Even if he gets a goal, how many will he score GW6?

Chelsea look like they are going to struggle, to many new players and they obviously need time. From GW9 probably would not want to own any.

Second striker most definitely. I plan to keep him long term with Archer on the bench. Cheap and will get lots of points this season.

It is a bit risky but I am thinking of punting on Johnson up to GW7 then decide on Son or Maddison but whether Johnson starts is another issue.

    Thoughts?

    A) Jackson + Foden --> Son + Alverez (-4)

You could always do one of your city defenders to another and get Alvarez unless you have Ederson of course 🙁

        I do indeed have Ederson

That is the issue with owning Ederson, blocks your way to 3 attacking assets for the double game weeks.

Foden has been great even though the fpl points has been underwhwlming, Wouldnt loose him for a hit. Good fixtures in the next 3.

Worth a -4 though this week?

    1. FOO FIGHTER

I might be taking two hits. One is for Ahamada to Mbeumo. The other could be Maddison in for Diaz but still deciding on that.

With injuries etc other teams will be lining up hits if they have already brought in the likes of Ferguson possibly being out.

WC's have the best seats at the moment.
