Thanks ... going to be an interesting few hours for updates hopefully then a sunny-ish weekend, well a sunny Friday and most of Saturday before the rain returns for Sunday.

Like the football results, it will probably be a mixed bag and could get stormy in parts.

It's probably best to wait until tonight or Saturday morning for the transfers because they'll be print media updates embargoed until the Saturday papers are published overnight.

    Normally released around 10.30 pm.

For example, it would have been laid out more obvious that Pedro was benched last time by the newspaper part of the press conference that the broadcast media don't get to cover.

I have zero Spurs players but I'm thinking of going Eze to Bruno to cover the better fixtures in the next three. Do you think that is a valid move?

I can see the desire to move Eze to Bruno.
Im not sold on United so wouldnt do it.
Plus Palace plays Fulham next week.
      Other MF option to sell?

If you could choose one combo for the next 7-8 GW’s, would you choose:

    A) Andersen + Diaby + Botman + Salah B) Mbuemo, Foden, Estupinan and AWB

    A) Stick with this (-8)
    B) WC to avoid hit and sort def/keeper/Jackson

    Turner
    Chilwell Gusto Udogie
    Rashford Saka Son Maddison
    Haaland Alvarez Jackson

    Pickford Mbuemo Estupinan Baldock

If you want to change both GKs, a couple of defenders & Jackson, i.e. -8 + 5 more moves, I'd probably just hit the WC

Swallow the -8 and keep the wildcard in your back pocket for another time, loads of good times for it to be used coming up.

      Team looks solid as is.

Need to pick 2 out of the 3:
    Aké
    Estupian
    Chillwell

Don’t think any will get clean sheets so will go off goals and assists which has me favouring Chillwell and Estupian.

    C) other?

    Onana
    Estu - Chilwell - Colwill

    Areola - Gabriel - Mubama - Kabore

    Leno (Areola)
Cash - Udogie - Gusto (Estup - Baldock?)
    Saka - Salah - Rash - Maddison
    Haaland - Alvarez (Archer)

    1. Best 4m def now baldock is injured. Basham? Al-Dakhl?

It's my wc dilemma. Go with:

A - Son, Maddison and no Utd mid, or
B - Maddison and Rash or bruno

I think I'll go with A this gw due to spurs v SHU and cap Son, then see how utd get on. They could still be in the mud, but houjlund could transform them

    Onana (Areola)

Estupinan Colwill Gvardiol (TAA injured & Baldock injured)

Normally it’s 4 out of 10 per gameweek but more games are shown over the festive period and there were also some midweeks where all the games were shown on prime last season so yes maybe it’s true. Off the top of my head I’d have guessed about 190 rather than 200.

Thanks for the replies. In the US, I think we get ALL the games on USA and Peacock and NBC. I am just surprised that only 200 games are available in the UK...... maybe there is a local TV blackout or something. or maybe UK viewers have other programs to watch or things to do. So I just looked up the answer and it's a forty year old Saturday blackout rule against televising games in the UK that are ongoing on Saturdays from 245 to 515.

Early on in the NFL we have a similar rule that unless there's a stadium sell out, no local TV. But it's only the local area not nationwide.

          • 15 Years

I’m quite happy with the blackout rules in the UK. I think attendances at local games would be impacted if there was live premier league football on TV at 3pm on a Saturday. Also, from a selfish perspective I have a premier league season ticket that cost me a lot so I’d be really annoyed if I had to pay more for my TV subscription to include games that I wouldn’t be able to watch anyway!
Having said all that, ultimately if you want to watch premier league at 3pm on Saturday I’m sure you’ll find a stream somewhere.

    Sanchez
    Dias - Estup - Chilwell
    Foden - Mbeumo - Odegaard - Saka - Madders
    Jackson - Haaland

    Areola - Henry - Semenyo - Botman

WC, i am still thinking about 2 rosters. I know that defense is not amazing, but I prefer more quality in midfield and attack.

First roster is with Mo Salah & Darwin (great Liverpool fixtures for long time). This is maximum, what can I do with my budget:

    Leno (Areola)
    Udogie, Cash, Botman (ANDERSEN, Mengi)
    SALAH, Saka, Maddison, Mbeumo, Bowen
    Haaland, DARWIN (Archer)

    £ITB 0.0

On the other side, I’m still thinking about roster with Son & more stable attackers. Like this:

    Leno (Areola)
    ESTUPINAN, Udogie, Cash (Botman, Mengi)
    SON, Saka, Maddison, Mbeumo, Bowen
    Haaland, ALVAREZ, WATKINS

    £ITB 0.0

Which roster is better for long-term and can produce more points? Thanks 🙂

Defence in 1 looks a reasonable sacrifice if you want Salah. The bold play might be Bowen & Saka - Son & Diaby..?
