I think you're mixing him up with Ismail Sarr the winger who used to play for Watford. Not the same Sarr.

    Flekken (Virginia)
    Chilwell Estupinan Kobare (Udogie Stones)
    Bruno Rashford Son Sterling Mbeumo
    Haaland Alvarez (Mubama)
    1.5 ITB

Been planning on moving Stones on, but not sure if another defender could warrant dropping someone from my playing XI next GW. Can afford Trippier, he’s really the only potential upgrade I can think of, but even that seems sideways.

It wasn't a one week move, it will balance out over time. Mbeumo is kind of in season keeper territory, almost anyway. That's said, I might take him out if at some point in the next few.

I've been predicting a downturn for mbuemo and Brentford so never owned mbuemo, sold Wissa gw4. But that was shockingly bad. The worst I've ever seen them play. Schade and Rico injuries are big blows. Frank will whip them into shape though. Maupay gotta replace Wissa. Maybe ajer in and stick the 532. Gotta wonder if strakosha might get a look over flekken at some point

Gather GW 8 / GW 9 are the ‘template’ time to wildcard, is this because of the fixture swing (Liverpool & Spurs - both have nice fixtures)

Any other good times to look to use it. Will have 2 FTs (hopefully), and think I could bring in a Liverpool & spurs player

    Current team:
    Onana Turner
    Botman Cash Gusto Udogie Estu
    Saka Mitoma Foden Rash Mbeumo

Can currently afford Rash + Mbeumo -> Salah & Maddison
    Haaland Alvarez Archer

I watch that stuff, but my opinion isn't really swayed by it. I normally have a pretty good idea what I want to do next week already. But is good to hear peoples opinions, and sometimes they show useful stats.

What I don't like is these quick fire questions where they just dismiss every player that doesnt fit their narrative or preference.

    8. Wrong Captain Choice - Ag i…
      • 16 Years
      2 years, 5 months ago

I view it like eves dropping on the hive mind. It tells me the way they are going, they all follow each other. I have yet to see a content creator that has gone 3-4-3 for example. They funnel the masses towards a narrow direction, normally it is utterly predictable.
Then they terrified to deviate from it for fear of looking stupid.

And they invent all these stupid 'rules' -
      Don't make an early wildcard
      Don't use a transfer for a keeper
      Don't make a transfer for a defender
      Don't chase price rises

No nuance to them at all!

This makes the game easier because then I can decide what moves are they NOT thinking of and I can move accordingly. It is like playing cards and you know the moves most will do.

So in answer to your question do I watch content creators yes. Do I follow their advice? Not necessarily. I use the information to roughly know their players and formation they favour - fears of underlying stats XG and guff like that. They seem to think XG is a real thing and you get points for it.
Then I know the way they think, and what they are telling others to think watching them tells me of all the options they are not looking at. I know their biases and gaps in knowledge on teams or tactics, or areas where they are knowledgable.
It was part of the reason I bench boosted gw1 and wildcarded gw2 to make sure I would have a different team and go different routes throughout the season. And it is also the reason I went 3-4-3 gw2 instead of 3-5-2. Because the content creators told everyone to go 3-5-2 and barely considered any other alternate formations.

I honestly think that Pickford placed like bots or something into the fpl community recommending him as a pick, or he paid off all content creators.

Sadly, Pickford was hyped because he is currently England #1 despite playing for the everlosers. (yeah, I know they just won one!) Blame Gaz the Southgate.

Trippier, Chilwell, Bruno to Kabore, Bell, Salah for -4?

Maybe just do Chillwell to Kabore, given Chillwell uncertainty and Kabore double game week. No reason to get -4. Trippier should be great play over next few weeks and Bruno as well. However, if you want Salah you can work that move in a little later, even a week from now, but without wasting 4 points.

Find another way to get Salah without selling Trippier, plus don't do it this week.
Kabore was really lucky to get a FPL assist today, ,most of Luton's attacking was done on the opposite flank to Kabore. Plus even then Luton were all huff and puff.
