Chilwell to fodder would leave me 1.8m itb and

    Ederson 4.0
    Bot Schar Cash Udogie 3.9
    Saka Mbuemo Madd Son Sterling
    Watkins Haaland 4.4

Or should I do Sterling to someone (7.4m) and bench Chil (and eventually sell)?

I won't just roll it because Chilwell will no doubt continue to drop in value

Made a schoolboy error and used my FT on Morris before the games yesterday. Now my defence next week looks awful...

Would you take a -4 or just leave it as is?

    Estupinan, Pinnock, Chilwell

    Bench: Udogie, Gusto

Having no Newcastle gave most of us a hiding. Before their match I was at 1.1m and after dropped to 1.9m. Will be risky to be without Newcastle GW7 so got in 2.

      Ranks still tight though.

I didnt panic yesterday and just did chilwell to botman leaving me 1 ft and 1m itb.

now is a very tough fpl devision ahead, who to prioritise?

a bowen (jwp possibly but prefer bowen) v sheffield. just because a team loses 8-0 doesnt mean they ll get battered every week, if anything it could bring them more together (i remember southampton after their defeat v leicester). saying that bowen is a great fpl option and my move last night was to enable mbeumo to bowen

b son. that wouldnt be until next gw (so keep mbeumo v forest) and would require a hit and also a very cheap striker (up to 5.7) and keeper (4.5 max). maybe b is too much compromise??

what are your thoughts? thank you very much 🙂

I'm in a similar position. I like both Bowen & JWP. Son would be the gold standard but I'd need to make some serious compromises to get him immediately and I'm not sure that it's worth it. Having said that, Spurs have short to medium great fixtures - even this week.

Certainly wait until after the mid week EFL matches. I notice that WHM have a relatively easy match against Lincoln so much of the WHM first team might get a rest. I think that I am going to strap myself down so I don't make a transfer this week. Mbeumo against Forest is not necessarily 2 points (or fewer 🙂 ).
My advice, for what it's worth, is to wait.

Really tough one. I would probably go for B as you’ll want Son for the Luton game.

Do you still have your WC? Not sure if you have any other fires to put out, but if you did, WC would allow you to get both Son and Bowen in for their lovely runs.

Yea he’s a great asset to have and in an ideal world I’d have him. But not willing to sacrifice having other players I want and flexibility to move also. For me bringing in Diaz will partially cover salah(hopefully) and hope the other plays afforded by now having salah will make up the difference.

In an ideal world you DON'T have him and instead use the funds saved on him to make a more balanced team that matches him in midfield and then you can afford the likes of Trippier at the back.

But the reality is that Salah is still one of the most reliable and consistent ways to points despite not offering great value for money.

Salah is a 'realist' way of playing FPL rather than the ideal trying to rotate into the huge hauls on Son, Bruno, Saka, Bowen types of players.

Not a fan of those moves especially for a -4.

Foden and City have some tough fixtures coming up and assuming you already have Haaland and Alvarez, triple City attack may not be the best play going forward. I already have all 3 and will keep them for Wolves away in GW7 but will look to move Foden on by GW8.

Gordon is one yellow away from a suspension.

How is this for GW7 WC? I know GW8 is probably a better time but would like to hear your thoughts on this squad.
    - Double Newcastle defence to target the favourable fixtures.
    - Will bench Udogie in GW7 to play Morris for his DGW.
    - 2 Spurs asset to prepare for GW8 fixture turn.
    - Neto and Areola rotate very well from GW7 to GW19.
    - Mbeumo is a question mark but he plays Forest next. Can switch to Diaby for Villa's fixture turn easily.

    Neto Areola
    Estu Botman Trippier Udogie Kabore
    Salah Saka Madders Mbeumo Nkamba
    Haaland Alvarez Morris

I'm on a WC too, 5 red arrows in a row, had to be done. Only player I can't afford is Trippier. You need 5 in midfield and more Villa so just start with Diaby over Mbeumo.

      Areola
      Cash Botman KABORE
      Salah Saka Maddison Bowen Mitoma
      Haaland Watkins

I am planning to Mbeumo to Diaby after Brentford vs Forest. And then Alvarez and Morris to Watkins and Archer. Booking quite a number of transfers which is not ideal but I think I might getting Diaby before the deadline, and continue my punt on Morris.

There will be rotation in Newcastle's attack. Anderson at his price is a steal for a Newcastle attacker.

Rotation prone players are not ideal for bench spot, are they?

Maybe the trend is different nowadays

I don't have a 5th mid spot to give up.

Nope. He's been in since GW1 and is going nowhere.

The 6-7m bracket in mids is too strong to fodder up for a comparable option in attack.

The only attacker I think might be worth getting soon (other than Alvarez ofc) is Darwin and he's too expensive.

Darwin is a good option but his minutes not so much.

On 3-4-3 at the moment. Really want a reason to sell Alvarez to make the switch to 3-5-2 and get Maddison. But until Pep drops him I can't really justify the move. Come on Pep...
