"Check complete" is very stupid thing to say. It leaves room for error like we saw yesterday. Why can't they simply communicate like in army here (and repeat what gas been said. For example? "It is a goal, game is 1-0" leaves zero space for error. Audience should here what refs are talking. And rules should be corrected so that the game can be stopped if there is huge error like this. Perhaps a rule about unforeseen events? And possibility to demand re-check, just like Hawk eye in tennis or like they do it in NFL. I don't understand what amateurs are running refereeing, they must be really thick.

They are. Right from the first gameweek when the United Wolves fiasco happened, till yesterday. Hasn't been a single week when it has been decent

Just hearing Mike Dean talking about how he hated operating VAR and not wanting to tell his mates that they’ve made a wrong decision, tells you everything really.

If refs ego is the biggest of their worries (instead of correct decisions)... Absolutely shocking 🙁

I'd assume after yesterday there will be some retraining with communication more like airforce pilots.

Rugby and cricket both communicate better.

Also players show the refs respect. Drop the theatrics

Yes, but counterpoint. Its really hard to make a decision with players all yapping in your ears. So send the lot of them off, all just as much to blame.

Give the refs space and they will communicate and think better.

Referee needs to quickly spray a white line on the pitch and make it clear anyone who crosses the line will be sent off. Trial it at least and see if that works as a deterrent. They do need space and less pressure so they can make correct decisions instead of being barked at by multiple players.

Not blaming my 4.2 m rank on Salah but he's gone for saka by the time arsenal play Sheffield if he hasn't hauled. Just not convinced he's as essential as I first thought if I m never going to captain him

    B) Darwin (Brighton Everton Forest)

Your first question should be -
      Who plays more?

Well, we will never know that. This is assuming they play similar minutes

Well you can look at previous amount of minutes played, injuries statements of managers.
I would argue we are less likely to know who scores more - and assuming both will have the same minutes is a logical fallacy.
As currently Alvarez has the most consistent minutes of any of the top teams strikers.
Also Darwin is said to be carrying an injury and his minutes are being managed accordingly.

          1. DARK SIDE OF THE LOON

Hmmm...correct about Alvarez. I guess it's Darwin's fixtures that are tempting me towards considering him. But yes, it's all about the minutes to begin with.

I brought him in quite early. Still torn on whether I should get Salah but I’ll probably not now.

With the Gakpo injury and Jota suspension, he should start vs Brighton next weekend.

Just did Odegaard > Son after Ode’s haul - was thinking to switch him to Saka anyway and now made sense.

Are of these worth a -4? Don’t particularly like the fact that Estu will be playing a riled up Liverpool.

    A. Estu > Cash
    B. Botman > Andersen

    Areola
    Estu, Udogie, Burn
    Salah, Son, Maddison, Mbeumo, Mitoma
    Haaland, Alvarez

    (Ederson, Semenyo, Botman*, Gusto*)
