Guy winning my league (and going 100 points ahead of me already!) has Andersen (15) and colwill (assist and counting) coming off the bench for Gvardiol and Botman.

Dreamy luck or good planning …

    Repost as got bottomed

Trying to choose a GK on a WC and happy to hear some thoughts:

    - Leno with great saves % but price already went up a bit and fixtures looking really tough, would you be happy to relay on mostly on the save points?

    - Raya, Arsenal great for GA but not many shoots here and fixtures probably not ideal from the CS perspective, his passing helps with BPS, is he worth the money tho?

    - Areola doing pretty good with the saves and WH ain’t that bad in terms of GA, fixtures are ok and price helps here as well, go to one?

    - Johnstone, I’m surprised that he looks pretty good from the % saves perspective but doesn’t have many of them, also CP not conceding a lot, fixtures are not bad but somehow uninspiring pick?

    - Neto good with saves and fixtures but Cherries probably a no go?

    - Kinda don’t believe in Sanchez, Flekken, etc…

    - Turner ofc 4.0 bench option

Yet anyone to consider from the 4ish?

    1. Not again Shirley
      • 9 Years

I don’t think there is such a thing as an inspiring GK pick TBH. Johnstone from that lot. I have Sanchez. Cheap and plays for decentish team.

I've got Leno/Areola but bought both for 0.1m cheaper.

Happy with those two. It's been 2 weeks but rotation has worked well. Will still play Leno vs SHU.

Raya is probably worth it if you could stretch to it, Fulham fixtures mixed for a bit but Areola rotates great. More expensive though & rotation with Areola not great (won't have to rely on that as much though)

Also consider Neto for Areola rotation.

Don't like Turner as #2. Would definitely get Areola in there.

You probably want to change at least 3 defenders and the first 3 mids plus the keepers so I can see your temptation.

Rashford and Mbueno to something like JWP and Son, though for a -4 and I think it looks a lot better. Depends how badly you want Salah in as that's hard without the WC

    Areola Kabore Taylor Anderson

Both great options but I'm starting to think JWP is better value particularly if you are desperate for funds elsewhere. His xGI per 90 isn't that far behind Bowen's, and with his baseline BPS so high an assist in a low scoring game could be enough for him to clock some bonus.

Genuinely would have Nkunku down for having scored at least 6 so far this season if he didnt get his injury

hmm think so. his xG per 90 would've been 0.7-0.8, nearly 6 after 7 games and then a bit of overperforming

Nkunku is class, probably/almost definitely would've had pens as well.

      Bowen

But if Klopp holds a grudge against Jota for his red (bit like Darwin last season vs Palace) then Diaz could be gold. As for now his minutes are too limited to justify over Bowen medium to long-term

    Technical price change question

    Trippier
    Bought value 6.5
    Current value 6.7

If he goes up in price tonight to 6.8, I gain value on him. That much I know for sure. However my question is, does this translate to me being able to sell him for more?

Only asking because I am wildcarding him out, but wondering whether to avoid removing him until his price goes up overnight.

    Thanks

How has palmer been given the assist?? By that logic why didn't morris get the assist? In both cases, defender tried to clear but hit the opposing player who scored. Inconsistency

Feel so sorry for Raul Jimenez. He’s been so poor after his head injury.
