Hello one and all, in the unlikely event we get definitive news that Saka is out:

    A) Estu -> Porro, play Morris, bench injured Saka
    B) Saka -> Maddison, play Kabore, bench injured Estu
    C) Both transfers, bench Luton, -4

Depends on your timing for wildcarding, but I could see the hit paying off first week

I’m now in the cheap end of the wildcard, so pending injury news it’s either:
    Diaz and Archer
    Or
Darwin and a sub 5.0 - the sub 5.0 I am not sure about, potentially even a choice between Hudson Odoi or Elanga. Any other options I’ve not considered?

On WC, 0.0 ITB. Is bench strong enough:

    Areola
    Cash - Udogie - Burn
    Salah - Son - Maddison - Diaby
    Watkins - Alvarez - Haaland

    3.9 - Mitchell - Taylor - Chuk

Unfortunately you have to face the consequences fielding both Haaland and Salah in the starting XI

    Luton fans;

Any idea how ye will set up defensively against Spurs at the weekend? Will ye 'go for it' or set up like say Sheffield United did when they played Spurs a few weeks ago. I'm debating giving the armband to Son or Salah.

    Cheers.

    This was my team

    Areola Turner
    Estupinan Botman Cash Gusto Andersen(Luton)
    Salah Son Saka Maddison Mitoma
    Haaland Alvarez Archer

I took a minus 12 to get this

    Areola Turner
    Trippier Porro Cash Gusto Andersen(Luton)
    Son Saka Maddison Bowen Mitoma
    Haaland Alvarez Watkins

Basically sold Salah to accommodate Trippier and Watkins and also sort injuries

    Question is, do I

    A) Keep it how it is
    B) Free hit this week, get my 12 points back and go back to my original team with Salah next week

    Cheers

      minus 12 :O.

      Wow.

i don't think you needed to do more than -4/-8 to field a decent team...? do you have 1 FT still?

    2. Els365
      • 4 Years
      2 years, 4 months ago

I also took a -12 hit due to budget funds to get the team i want. Hadnt taken a hit this season and was planning not to but morris (archer), botman (porro) injury and sterling (son) out of form forced my hand. Wouldve taken a -8 were it not for awoniyi price limiting my funds but ended up sacrificing him for solanke (6.4 mill). Im confident the hit will payoff this week especially if my differential captain outscores haaland, son and salah who will be highly captained (now own all by the way)

It's a hard question to answer. Taking a -12 and selling salah seems crazy to me so I can see the appeal of a FH but ultimately its a waste of a good chip. I'd probably go A

    Hi all,

what to do with this lot? Few injuries/suspensions, no WC and currently sat on a total -4 this GW. Do I do another -4 to ensure I get 11 out?

    Areola
    Udogie Cash Estupinan*
    Salah Son Maddison Saka* JWP
    Haaland Alvarez

    Subs: Turner Semenyo Botman* Gusto*

£0.0ITB -4 currently as did 2FTs to avoid a pricing out on Salah

So, I'm between a -8 or WC (which would also fix other things*).

Can get to this team with -8

    Pickford
    Cash Burn Porro
    Salah Son Saka Bowen Mitoma
    Haaland Alvarez
    (Turner Kabore Baldock* Ui-Jo*)

I got a feeling Saka will play vs City, and he's a season keeper for me anyway (Gunners fan, so biased)

Estu, Botman, Bruno to Burn, Porro and Son (C)

Ouch, hits for the defenders is painful as you'll likely not be repaid. I think the Saka news will be the decider as you wouldn't really want kabore playing and if you have another surprise you'll be short.

      Botman** Archer Bell**

      2 FTs and 1.8 ITB.

Was thinking Estu, Saka and Rashford > Schar, Salah and Neto/Diaby for a -4?

Definitely more than happy to take a -4 as have no WC in hand.

      Appreciate any feedback!

        Sensational.
Not in love with Darwin as 'cover' for Salah. But I 'get it'.
        The rest is flawless

Yeah, as I say, I get it.
I do think he looks better than last season, and as you say... will get the minutes now.
It's just how many chances he needs in order to get a goal that is concerning!

Yea that's the thing he misses more than he scores, hoijund looks sharp but in a real poor united team, I thot about putting him in, but Trent isn't enough Liverpool cover

The biggest decision for me wildcarding this week has been whether or not to get trippier. He’s so good but is he worth 1.7 or so more than someone like porro who shows attacking potential and plays for a reasonable defence?

Take the -4 and wait for Diaby team news.

I really may have to WC, but if you are OK playing Morris, wand wait until the ITB, id take a hit.
