Nothing needed here! Great team. You can play Archer if Diaby misses out and then have 2FTs for the IB.

If the Diaby news is bad, consider Diaby to JWP or just start Archer then. Looks good!

    Bottomed on last article…

Just seen Estu is out - injuries woes continue.

Have already used my FT to replace Botman with Udogie. With this team

    Onana (Turner)
    Saliba Udogie Cash (Estu Baldock)
    Rashford Saka Maddison Mitoma Bowen
    Haaland Watkins (Wissa)

    Would you
    A. Wildcard (wanted to avoid this but now looking tempting)
    B. Take a -4 to replace Estu (probably with Andersen or Guehi)
    C. No hits this week and delay wildcard decision to after IB

Do you want minus 4 or Estus price to plummet?
I'd probably go Chelsea Def over Palace either way

If you paid 5 for estu then keeping him until next gw is going to cost 0.1. Not worth losing 4 points over 0.1 alone

Start Areola or Turner? Leaning Turner as Areola has 0 chance of a clean sheet.

    Turner
    Trippier Cash Udogie
    Salah(VC) Son(C) Saka* Bruno Bowen
    Watkins Alvarez
    Areola Morris Gabriel Taylor

I doubt Turner keeps a cleansheet either. Just start the one who plays in a better team imo in cases like this.

    2ft and 0.6itb.

    Johnstone
    Schär Udogie Saliba
    Salah Saka* Maddison Diaby* Mbeumo
    Haaland Alvarez

    Turner; Kabore, Estupinan*, Mubama

Estupinan + Saka -> Pau + Son? 0.1 short of Cash + Son but that's ok, I've usually been on the winning side when making my moves as late as possible.

People are getting Cash for his 0.51 xGIp90 not for Villa.

Lindelof/Burn/Guehi would be better than Torres. I think Cash is close to essential given the run and stats.

Hitting in Neto is wild unless it is to enable somewhere else.

Surely Saka is the one to go? Injury worry and Man City then Chelsea. Mbuemo has United then Burnley and isn't injured.

Good question. Yes - I go over that too. The ones in bold that I discuss, I personally think are worth getting in this week for none WCers. Due to their form and fixtures.

The only ones that doesn't hold true for is probably the strikers. It's up in the air for the best choices there but I cover all the legit options this week if not on a WC. Cheers!

You'll never want to play Lamp/Taylor, Chuk, right?

In which case A gives you little more balance & options.

Yes I can. Both european games in the week - Newcastle exhausted after giving their all v PSG, West Ham travelling away and digging in to nick the win. Can see two teams not at 100%.

Not for me, West Ham seem to like playing teams that have more of the ball and push high up the pitch so they can counter so I think at least 1-1 but could be more goals tbh

If you are on WC just go Chuk. He's more advanced, cheaper and doesn't brick your 3rd Newcastle spot. You will never play him anyway so it's 0.1 and an extra NEW to play with down the line. No one is going triple Chelsea for a long while.

You should never plan to play an 8th attacker in FPL IMO.

Put those extra funds in defence.

A 4.5m defender is much more likely to return than an Anderson (who might not even play) or Nakamba (2 pt merchant). I prefer Chuk.

    Johnstone
    Porto, cash, Trippier

    Areola, Mitoma, cougar, kabore

I did have them all including diaby but the bench was chronic. I also don’t like having too many players from one team as that has stung me before

          • 13 Years

Multiple players from one team being bad is a fallacy. Suarez - Sturridge. Fernandes - Rashford. Lampard - Terry. Saka - Martinelli.

Don't let it sting you especially with attacking assets.

Downgrading Diaby to Neto is arguably an upgrade in isolation this week as Neto is 90 mins plus set pieces, Diaby looks to be injured.

Def prefer Diaby long term though. I also prefer JWP to him.

I'd take Salah over him if I have to choose one. Going with both. It's not hard to build a reasonable squad with both since a lot of other assets are out of the frame (Saka, other Arsenal premiums, United assets, no other clear and obvious Liverpool etc.).

The Lamptey chatter is nonsense, trust. He will play 2 or 3 max. Those 2 are against Liverpool and Man City. You won't play him then, after that he will be dropped for Estu's return.

Then you will have a depreciating, non-playing 3.9m player bricking your 3rd Brighton slot.

Kabore, Branthwaite, Taylor and Baldock all clear of Lamptey.

Well Diaby is potentially injured so that's B off the table.

Also why would you bin off Fernandes over Saka? Saka is injured and plays Man City then Chelsea. Fernandes plays Brentford at home then the worst team in the league.

Can't see Rashford in your team you posted also.

Saka to Bowen if you don't want to hit in Salah.
