          Not right now but you're not picking your 15th man in FPL for that. You are picking the one that saves you the most money. If you really want a playing 4.4 mid then go Nakamba but it's largely pointless and Chuk could play CAM when he returns.

          The only except for this is Archer who will start and play up top vs. Mubama who will brick your 3rd Villa spot. But those two are at striker anyway.

    In shambles. Not able to field 11 players atm and FT used. OR shocking 4,4 mill:

    Pope
    Cash Saliba Botman*
    Mbeumo Diaz Bruno Son Saka*
    Alvarez Haaland

    Turner Semenyo Estu* Henry*

    A) Henry -> Romero -4
    B) Estu -> Porro -4
    C) Henry/Saka -> Porro/Maddison -8

    Cheers!!

      WC? Saka needs shifting to Maddison. Henry to Porro. Two injuries to two form players with plum fixtures.

      I'd be tempted to hit out Estu too. Maybe - Lindelof, Burn or Guehi.

      Quite the mess in defence!

    Areola - Turner

    According to the weekly referee decision post mortem two of Watkins goals should have been disallowed for reasons I forget.

    This would paint the picture above back into the favour of Diaby but both are good picks in different positions.

    Is the general expectation that Diaby plays at Wolves?

    1. speardrops
      • 13 Years
      2 years, 6 months ago

      I don't think he's playing. And if he does it's reduced minutes with rubbish stats. Both Diaby assists were on the non-goals. Watkins easily better if you can get there. Prefer JWP to Diaby.

        Watkins' second goal was a scuffed shot and his third was a deflection, and his first "assist" was a 5 yard pass about 35 yards away from goal before Ramsey scored from 20 yards out and his second assist was a shot that the keeper saved and fell to the edge of the box. If you're going to say Diaby's assists we're lucky (the first wasn't a "non goal" either) then do the same for Watkins

      maybe I misread that at the time and it was 2 dubious goals amd 1 for Diaby in fact!

      Well, Emery implied last week that Diaby’s knock wasn’t a big concern. I guess we’ll have to wait for the pressers and hope he is transparent about Diaby’s chances.

      The bench feels...thin to say the least. I think ur draft is fine so long as ur ready to move on one attacker and upgrade a fodder defender by gw 11. If u love the front 7 then downgrading cash to Pau
      /konsa or Burn and upgrading kabore feels worth it to me remember we are stuck with this setup for a while

      Exact same team as me, including bench, except I have Bowen instead of JWP!!

      GTG I say!! I don’t personally buy all this “weak bench” stuff if I’m honest.

      I’ve always used it to save money and filled it with the like of Taylor and Kabore, i.e. as cheap as possible but they also generally start.

      Chuk in third spot is a pure enabler at 4.3 if he’s still injured but once he’s fit he will see minutes I think - So yeh, the bench is fine and the starting 11 it enables is really great!

      Go for it!

    Porro, TAA, Pau

    I can’t stop intermittently tinkering with this WC draft by swapping Alvarez > Archer and Chuk > Diaby and playing a 3-5-2 instead of a 3-4-3….and vice versa haha!

    Do you think this is set to go? Step away from the keyboard or go 3-5-2?!

          Probably Bowen, as his fixtures are not as hot as Spurs or Villa. I'd downgrade him to Diaby. Tough though, as Bowen has been one of the most consistent returners.

      Strong bench gives you a better chance of not having to make transfers if you have 2 to 3 flags in your starting eleven. Injuries/flags are a painful this season for all of us.

      Those with a bench full of of 4.0/3.9's and Nakamba = problems

    Seeing most people going with Turner on their wildcard but surely his place is in doubt after last week and the other gaolie they brought in? Might play this week, but after an international break feels the perfect time for them to bring the other guy if they have plans to...

      Think Turner is just a bench warmer for those who have Areola as first choice. E.g. if I added Turner to my squad I could afford JWP > Bowen and play Areola almost exclusively.

    Current WC would you suggest any changes currently have 0.6ITB

    Areola
    Lampty, Burn, Udogie
    Salah, Bowen, Son, Diaby

        He can be changrd up to a 4.5, thought since Estu is out he was a good option to bring in to help enable other players and can take him out later with no real effort

    Is this worth a -4??

    Saka and Foden to Son and JWP

    Could also do almiron instead of JWP

    Made 1FT Saka to Son

    Leno
    Trippier Udogie Digne
    Son Madd JWP Foden
    Haaland Alvarez Watkins

    // Mbuemo / Estup / Botman

    Was thinking of Foden to Diaz -4 but seems unnecessary right?

      Depends if the one which likes to show off his calves starts.

      Pretty sure there will be leaks tomorrow before the deadline.
