What's eveveryones best finishing position?..... In fantasy football lol

Bet there's a few top 100 finishers on here surely or even a few winners?

For what it's worth I managed a top 10k finish, but only once. I'm 10 millionth currently this season on 9 points lol

What sort of game are you playing? Are you aiming for top gameweek score regardless of points?

probably only 2-5m teams in mid-teenies though so all relative.

Ive had a few horrendous seasons too. Always managed within 500k but I guess most do by GW38.

Every other season has been decent, but lost both top10k and top5k with exactly one point. However this game has become more difficult quite fast lately. YouTubers have found their audience.

Nah j/k I’m not humble and I came 25th once

Will say with the numbers involved I think you’re doing really well just to be logging results inside the top 100k consistently. The really high numbers are luck/variance

For me I know the chances of pushing that high again are minuscule no matter how well I play

      Three conclusions:

      1) it was a piece of cake to get an amazing rank 8+ years ago, mainly because the number of teams was much lower and the huge majority of players were casual and didn't access FFS, Twatter etc to help/carry them
      2) some people don't need a second invitation to brag
      3) I finished 461st last year (see number 2 above)

Well, partner, let me tell ya about Red Dead Redemption 2, a true rootin' tootin' masterpiece of a game, as vast as the open prairie and as deep as a canyon. Rockstar Games done gone and crafted a world so rich and immersive, it'll make you feel like a real cowpoke.

Them there graphics are as pretty as a sunset on the plains, with details so fine that the jewels of a stallion will shrink up in cold weather. The story, it's a tale as epic as a cattle drive, with twists and turns that'll keep you on the edge of your saddle. The characters, they're as colorful as a wildflower, each with their own story to tell.

The gameplay, well, it's smoother than a lonesome tumbleweed rollin' down the desert. You can mosey on into town, get yourself into barroom brawls, shoot-outs and showdowns or just ride out into the wilderness to hunt for some critters.

So saddle up, partner, and ride on into the sunset with this here game. Yeehaw!

Tsimikas suddenly coming into play, assuming he's guaranteed a good run. Otherwise, any no-Mo attacker has risky minutes (except maybe an affordable Slobby).

Tsimi I am not sure about. Maybe if he had been a 4.0. As they play a kind of back 3 now, attacking opportunities likely limited and might even have to compete with JoGo for that spot.

Have considered Szoboszlai, but there are loads of better MF options than him less a fair bit less than his 7 million.

For under 4.5, you're not looking for attacking returns, but the fixtures suggest cleanies are finally coming. For me, he'd be an unexpected upgrade on a Luton defender.

I guess if you're comparing him to Luton, Burnley, Branthwaite the that's right; but if you can find the extra 0.1 down the back of the sofa would much rather have a Coufal or Guehi.

I don't think I just made it up, but I suppose the rationale is a different shape nowadays with Trent inverting and LB sliding over and JoJo actually coming back into some form after a couple of years in the wilderness.

Ok here's the breakdown on my aversion to targeting Fulham...

In Palhinha's 40 starts, they've conceded more than 2 goals only twice (3-1 defeat at WHU & a 5-3 win over Leicester - never to any of the top 6, however defined). In the 6 games he's missed, they've conceded more than 2 goals 5 times (18 GC total, with a CS at Everton the exception).

Palhinha made more tackles than any other player in any position last year by an enormous margin (210 - next best Casemiro 133). He's an absolute monster at breaking up everything through the middle, and against teams like Spurs without much aerial threat from open play, will force opponents out wide & just let Ream & co mop up the crosses.

Fulham's xGC also doesn't tend to look all that impressive but Leno's superhuman xGP tends to bail them out here too.

Last season they were really solidly organised & provided a real stiff test away at St James Park (0-1), Etihad (1-2), Anfield (0-1), Emirates (1-2) etc.

Simply put, this just isn't a fixture to be expecting a big 3+ goals victory with monster hauls for your attackers.

Cheapest and good rotation Areola and Turner.

Areola is the best value for money GK you can own and you can literally just have him as 1st choice. Him and Johnstone look like a decent pairing.

I have had Johnstone, Turner, Vicario, Areola and Leno this season. Picking the more expensive GK's always putting me in a spot of bother for £'s. I am just going to stick with Areola and Turner now.

Lesson learned is don't overspend in the GK department as you will need the spare cash. Hence me wasting transfers on GK's. I could have just kept Johnstone and Turner who I had from GW1 but there was the thing going aroundvthat both were going to be dropped. Did not happen...

Week after week it has been said Turner would lose his spot but still seems to be 1st choice.

Despite Nunez only starting 19 matches last season, 10 as a sub and 6 games out with injury, he still managed to get 14 FPL attacking returns which is not that bad tbh taking all the variables into account.

Last season he was not convincing enough though but lots could have been because of how his career started at LFC. Goal and assist on his PL debut as a sub, three match ban for a red card in GW3. He had a really difficult situation to try and settle and nail down a spot in the team last season. Once Diaz had his terrible injury, Nunez had to deal with chopping and changing between LW and ST.

Now with LFC having enough cover down the left with Diaz, Gapko and Jota being able to play there, perhaps Nunez will get a chance to nail down a spot down through the middle. His performance vs Newcastle on as a sub shows how explosive he can be and his link up play with Salah is really good. Every assist Nunez has for Liverpool resulted in a Salah goal. Liverpool are also just that much better when both Diaz and Nunez start. After the last IB Nunez picked up a knee injury which would have had an effect on him starting vs Wolves. Klopp brought on Diaz and Nunez 2nd half and Liverpool won the game.

Hoping Nunez can turn his LFC career around this season and start as many games possible, not only for LFC but also from an FPL point of view.

Like the double Arsenal mid as an alternative that Haaland/Salah/Son teams won't be able to accommodate. How many games would you realistically start Walker besides Bournemouth? Think you can do better there - maybe downgrade him to upgrade one of your GKs? Areola is fine for budget-stretched squads but WHU's defensive stats aren't great & you could easily afford someone like Raya

Looks good. Maybe invest in a keeper with better prospects if you're not gonna play 5 defenders most GWs. Odegaard wi prob end up with a good season tally but frustrates every other week or more with great games but not reflected in FPL. No Haaland is a risk but risk is relative in the scheme of things.

Wasting a spot picking City defence. You could have Anderson instead and then always go Estupinan once he is back then Mubama to Archer for a playing sub.
