For those not using WC in GW10:

Are you making your transfers early, or are you waiting until the midweek European games are played before pulling the trigger? All the teams with good fixture swings (Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa, Brighton, West Ham) have games midweek where anything can happen. There's also a very short gap between GW9 and GW10 with Spurs (whom some of their players being sold will be likely) finishing off GW9 on Monday and also starting GW10 on Friday.

I guess those wildcarding in GW10 won't affect any price changes because they are wildcarding so maybe there won't be that many price swings before GW10 starts.

Thinking it may be best to wait until Thursday's European games are done before making any transfers.

Will try to wait, should be fine as I'd hope most potential targets (Mitoma, Gabriel, Nunez) won't rise except maybe Bowen depending on tomorrow. I have 2FT again so I have a few options

defensive work + enables goal scoring wingers in Martinelli/Saka to come inside more. Also Ode gets to play higher up the pitch. Tough day at the office so far but it's their best attack

could work. There's a player in there that's for sure, had a lot of top level experience from a young age.

Arsenal need to go all in for Osimhen if they get the green light that Napoli will sell for a reasonable price.

celebrating that a 6.5 striker beats his team mate at 14m by a point?

for those who watch City almost every week Alvarez is easy hold.

if you go with Haaland but not Alvarez, the point in going Haaland weakens. Alvarez will maybe not keep pace, but he will be close, much closer than people think. Until Kdb returns.

Hey! For those who watched the Liverpool Everton game, can you give me an idea how TAA performed? I have him in my team since Gw8, but debating a switch to Tsimikas today as I've 2 FT.

    Turner, Areola
    Cash, TAA, Porro, Trippier, Lamptey
    Salah(c), Maddison, Son, Diaby, Bowen
    Nunez, Watkins, Mubama

    1. F4L
      • 11 Years
      2 years, 5 months ago

too deep for my liking, only hope for TAA owners is Gomez comes in for Tsimikas but think that's unlikely. Assist potential is being wrecked for the most part, more playing assisting the assister now.

was taking some set pieces (FK first half), out swingers for right foot corners ahead of Szobo

    2. JBG
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 5 months ago

From that match alone, I would say he's not really the TAA off old, as in crosses from the right side or being very involved in the attacking third in general.

Maybe someone else disagrees with me, but that is what I saw.

    1. Postman Ty
      • 11 Years

He's probably the most in form player in the league, and very generously priced. I don't understand why people were getting rid of him before Brighton who's defence has been pants. Man U defence poor all season. Bournemouth terrible defence. Chelsea a difficult one but Liverpool haven't been particularly solid. Spurs another difficult one but then Villa Luton and Palace. What's the issue with those if you really think about it for a form player in the best team.

Commentators saying Gabriel couldn't do anything about that handball is like saying someone who slides in early and can't stop themself from a collision isn't at fault for a foul. If proximity is all that matters everyone would defend headers with their arms above their head.

I’m sure, like most on here you play football. When you or anyone else jumps for a header, we all do it the same. Throw arms up to increase elevation and hang time to best suit a strategy to get to the ball. If it randomly ricochets in to your hand or arm, that is unlucky but one does it all game.

      1. Postman Ty
        • 11 Years

It didn't randomly ricochet... it was a headed shot at goal.
