Need at least 1 Arsenal for this weekend and beyond:

    A) Bowen to Saka?
    B) Udogie to Gabriel?

I'm really reluctant to lose Bowen, West Ham have some lovely games coming. I'd go B

Thanks all. Just a bit fearful of no Saka and not sure West Ham’s fixtures are as good as they first appear.

    Onana > Areola with FT?

Leaves funds for Trippier, but don’t think he’s worth a hit this week

Still don’t have Salah, but do have WC…can’t see a way to get him in without major sacrifices

I’d be tempted to Wildcard to get Salah and Trippier. Both on fine form and good fixtures.

There's nobody I really want to drop for Salah though. Only way would be to get rid of Haaland, but not keen on that.

    Haaland to Salah switcheroo.

8th attacker can be someone like Ferguson or save myself the weekly headache and go Archer?

Assuming your other attackers are likes of Alvarez, Watkins, Salah, Son, Saka, Maddison, Diaby etc then I’d save the headache.

    Haaland Alvarez

The only player really posing a danger to my rank now is Maddison. Just can't have them all. I have enough highly owned players combined with some differentials to maintain my rank now. Trust me, LiveFPL is great tool to make use of to see which players you need to improve your rank.

Grass is greener on the other side. Bowen got lucky goal in last match, but lost one to Soucek in previous. Soucek played advanced there, but now it looks like that test is done. Diaby has stopped getting points.

    Salah, Son, Maddison, Bowen
    Haaland, Alvarez

Turner, Anderson (NEW), Andersen (CRY), Archer

Got 2FTs and 0.2m itb. No Arsenal or Brighton or Watkins but I'm struggling to justify removing any of my players to make way for them.

I don't think there's justification for double Spurs attack in the short-medium term. There's no newly promoted sides and no relegation candidates besides Wolves until mid December against Forest and that includes a run of Villa, City, West Ham and Newcastle back to back and there are London Derbies with Palace and Chelsea in the short term. Spurs have had nice fixtures mostly and I think people need to choose between Mad and Son but its up to them if they want to double and risk missing out on Brighton and Arsenal and others.

    Areola Turner
    Cash Burn Udogie Guehi Taylor
    Salah Son Maddison Bowen Anderson
    Haaland Alvarez Nunez

    2FT and 0.4ITB

    A - Son & Nunez - Saka & Watkins
    B - Maddison & Nunez - Mitoma & Watkins
    C - Bowen & Nunez - Mitoma & Watkins
    D - Burn & Nunez - Lascalles & Watkins
    E - Haaland & Anderson & Cash - Watkins & Saka & Trippier
    F - Haaland - Watkins ( 1 week punt, Haaland back in GW11)
    G - Something else

Leaning towards A but nervous about losing Son.
Too many options leading to crippling amounts of over thinking, any opinions to help clear the fog would be greatly appreciated, thanks

it's worked for the no Haalanders so far, cheaper strikers have matched (/beaten him) and other captains have trounced him.

one gw soon (probably Bournemouth) he'll go nuts, but not sure it will offset the gains these people have made.

The only reason I'd consider it is because Alvarez is keeping pace with him at a fraction of the cost, I think people going without any City attack are playing a very dangerous game. They haven't clicked yet but they will do, always stronger after Xmas too. Alvarez could find gametime compromised if/when De Bruyne returns (no idea when) which would leave the non-Haalander's in a bit of a pickle probably.

    Haaland Alvarez

    Flekken Archer Chukwuemka Botman

Really want Watkins, prepared to lose Alvarez, which change would you do to facilitate this:

This is not a jab at Haaland owners or a post to entertain going without him.

I have done an analysis and the only way Haaland beats non Haaland owners is if he has really one mofo haul but your non Haaland team needs to have cap fail including a pathetic team score.

If Haaland has a really bad GW or gets a small haul, with him not being preferred cap choice over many GW's from now, if he has average GW's, non Haaland owners can make massive gains.

    Options here are

Son & Botman to Saka & White/ Gabriel

Hard decision on whether to Captain Saka or Watkins his GW!
Anyone know statistically if LUT or SHU have the weaker D?
Villas goal scoring form at home is hard to ignore (17 goals I think in 4)

I would say Saka being on pens could swing it but would burn me to see him in his generous feelings giving them away lol
