Whilst there seemed to be a shoulder issue, I think it was as much tactical as anything. Forest were attacking his flank specifically & he was jetting no joy.

I would replace Foden with Saka or Martinelli if doable without taking a hit.

Probably yes as Saliba is genuinely nailed (bar the off rest) whereas Gabriel is suppose is not completely.

It's not always a simple case of throwing more attacking players on the field - it can actually hurt your attack. If you can't break up counter-attacks the opposition has a route out of their half it hinders your attacking pressure, and you create fewer chances from counter-pressing. Balance is important. Maybe Klopp wanted to push the 8s for this particular game so needed his left back to tuck in bring balance.

I dunno, I'm sure Klopp had his reasons. Liverpool created enough chances to bury that game.
