I thought about it, but without Isak and Wilson I'm not sure who's going to get on the end of his crosses. Those two have scored more goals than the rest of the team combined.

Still might get a CS + 3 baps, but I think I'd rather go for someone with a larger ceiling.

One thing that has really perplexed me this season is the love for Villa and Emery.

Now last season, I was busy with other stuff so didn't spend much time on the PL. Apparently in my period of absence, I have been led to believe that Emery performed literal miracles with Villa. As such, Villa are now a top 5 team any day of the week.

I look at people with triple Villa, and people capping Watkins and I am honestly baffled.

might I add, Emery hardly showered himself in glory with Arsenal now did he.

        2 years, 3 months ago

Villa are a better side than Man Utd and Chelsea, who have both spent loads and nothing to show for it

Emery wasn’t the right fit for us but he’s a very good manager and besides he wasn’t given that much time. Villa is sort of his level and he’ll do well with them

        1. have you seen cyan
          • 6 Years

Its not to say he hasn't done well or they haven't. But much like people wouldn't triple up on those two teams, you wouldn't with villa either.

Man U and Chelsea are whack right now, but not sure they are worse teams, when it matters. If they are, its only temporary, although for Man U that may be much longer.

Is this some sort of riddle?

Villa have the 2nd highest scoring striker and 7th and 8th highest scoring mids in FPL. You can get them all for less than £21m. They're 5th and if you made a table since Emery joined they'd be 4th.

If you're baffled then so am I.
