      with Kamara out likely Diaby gets a start so would be tempted to give 1 last chance.

      First one has the better long term prospects. Jota out helps Darwin. Id do the striker switch but risky with Alvarez looking better last night.

      Now considering Alvarez, Martinelli and Anderson (new) out for a hit to Darwin, Mbeumo and Palmer. Let's me keep Bowen who I bought at 7mil. (Palmer can cover if he's out and gives me a better bench over xmas) injury update dependant. Of course Alvarez goes and shows some form last night and surely Marti will now bag a CL hatttie just to mess with my head.

      Not imo.
      He still needs to do it consistently for a few more games, then could be considered.
      Loads of midfield options atm.
      He is cheap, and probably play 60+ most games so low risk all round.

      I am definitely holding, 2nd highest scoring forward by a large margin, easily covered in GW 15 and 16 by Cunha, nailed and Villa's fixtures afterward are pretty good

      Not ridiculous but don’t be lulled to sleep by Watkins consistent drip of points. He’s nailed during the congested fixtures also.

      For context, he has 21 goals and somewhere in the neighborhood of 13 fantasy assists during Emery’s 39 matches in charge (roughly one full season). Only Haaland and Salah have more during that time. Also, he leads the league in runs in behind (Son and Haaland are next) which means he can have success against top level sides who play more open football and don’t just sit back. Food for thought.

        0.1M ITB. Yeah, he takes up a Liverpool spot sadly but a lot of Liverpool is rotation prone. I got Sanchez coming in once Alisson is back.

        I like Gordon as well but Palmer better stats.

              I've seen the unsustainable penalties line rolled out a few times. We're looking at numbers way out of line with previous seasons, currently at 1 penalty awarded in every 3 PL games on average. Penalties being awarded is going to be a very regular thing and people need to get used to it. FWIW Palmer and Gordon both good options.

                  I think so yes. No coincidence that a side with tricky wide players and one in particular who has a bit of a reputation for taking a tumble are winning so many. Obviously won't carry on at his current rate but he'll get some they won't just end for the season.

                    Chelsea's pens will dry up. Its actually a really bad time to buy Palmer I think, even though I did just last week. We are buying what he has already done, which is pens. Without those pens, I'd pick Soucek or someone else over him now.

                    Mbeumo got loads of pens at the start then they just stopped. Spurs have had zero pens. Relying on pens is not ideal when that player doesnt have much else in their locked. Sure he will score or assist every so often, but he wont set the PL alight. Sterling might be the better option.

                    Perhaps I am wrong and Chelsea keep getting gifted pens. Hopefully for my sake as a new Palmer owner.
