      Still tempted to keep Alvarez & Haaland long term, and thinking Haaland might be the one to drop for 18. Can then afford anyone for a one week punt, probably Watkins (SHU), and I've no value tied up in him, unlike Alvarez.

                      He's a better defender than Trent but that's not difficult. Gomez is a better defender than Tsimikas but not that great a defender and nowehere nearly as good an attacking threat of Tsimikas or Trent. With Caoimhín behind them Pool go from a poor CS bet to a worse CS bet.

          I’m considering the gk switch but only if Pope is defo out for more than a couple games

          You’ve a transfer to burn so I’d maybe do that switch now unless there is an archer replacement with I don’t think there is ?

            Cheers again - yeah assuming Pope's out a while but smart to wait for the confirmation if you can.

            Mostly just concerned on blocking Gordon. It wouldn't be the end of the world to have to move out Lascelles/Dubravka to accommodate Gordon later but just one of those annoying extra forced transfers.
