    Turner Areola
    Trippier Saliba Guehi Taylor Lascelles
    Salah Son Saka Mbuemo Palmer
    Haaland Alvarez Archer
    1 ft 0.3 itb
    A) Save
    B) Turner to Dubravka and some weeks play triple Newcastle (just Trippier Dubravka now though. Areola wont keep cs vs Spurs!

Cash to Zinchenko locked in. Went for the attacking upside over Gabriel. I have no idea how I am going to get off Areola as my only keeper but thats a problem for another day! Looking forward to his 1 pointer. Already lost 0.1m on Cash and he looks to be going down tonight which would be another 0.1m lost so gone early.

    Queue a Zinchenko benching 🙂

It seems Sa have a minor injury so we shouldn't do that transfer if we don't hear anything new.

If you want a short-term punt you can look at Kelleher and if Pope have a long-term injury Dubravka will be the next keeper for many FPL-managers.

Areola and Zouma the stand out issues here, had to double up for this week only and Zouma didn’t even play.

But constructed by funds, so thinking just a simple Turner > Dubravka move?

Or a defender for 4.5 in place of Zouma?

Yes, he is ahead of Hall. He was exellent against Man U and very good against PSG.

If he keeps it up it will be very hard for Burn to get his place back. Maybe Howe prefers Burn in harder games, but Livramento is so good going forward. He destroyed Rashford and Wan-Bissaka.

Nice one cheers for that, yeah he has been sensational, especially his runs that he makes gliding across the boxes which I’ve noticed, very sharp player.
I’d hope that he plays over these quick games now and doesn’t get rotated much. Maybe not actually considering he’s only just started playing more regularly again.

Good evening. Super happy with the 925k > 388k jump this gameweek. 0.9 ITB & 1 FT. (Wasted some moves on Bowen & Nketiah in the last phew 😆 )

    Leno
    Trippier Gabriel Taylor
    Salah Son Mbuemo Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Watkins
    Areola // Nketiah Cash Kabore

Obviously Saka-less, but couldn't get without a hit/selling Son, and would rather avoid for now. Defensive transfer likely.

    Thoughts?
    - Saliba? But Luton aside, ARS nevt few aren't defensively great (LUT, AVL, BHA, LIV... WHU, FUL)
    - Tsimikas (SHU, CRY, MUN, ARS, BUR, NEW)? Not nailed per se and Liverpool defensively are... interesting
    - James? Good fixtures, but a week early perhaps?
    - Livramento? Tempting - although I might prefer Leno/Areola > Dubravka later...

That’s a nice climb right there this week! Nice one!

Some nice options there, by my own process of elimination, I guess I’d prefer to leave Tsimikas as just never knowing gonna start or not.

James I’m not a huge fan of but I understand the potential, just too injury prone for me.

I’m in favour of either the Newcastle or Arsenal double up in defence, so Saliba or Dubravka for me.

Thanks for the reply. I've got Leno (NFO @ H) this week so clean sheet or not, I think I'll just play him. Could get lucky. Also - not unnecessarily rushing on the Newcastle keeper before news. GW17 may be my window.

Not a fan of Zinchenko for same sort of reason as Tsimikas? (Nailedness?)

Initial though was Saliba too - and good for next GW - but a CB is pretty meh for the weeks after, including GW18 with the blank.

        1. RICICLE

          Welcome man!
You could get lucky with Leno there, it seems the type of fixture where he could grab a 10 pointer and with the number of saves he makes. Yeah not much of a rush for Dubravka, I wouldn’t be in a rush if I had Leno, just cannot stand Areola any longer.

Yeah, Zinchenko I should of maybe took a punt on myself a bit ago, but feel as though I’ve missed that boat now, and the non naildness for me is always a concern, just need nailed players over this period.
I hear ya with Saliba, can feel a bit meh, just a sensible move.
Some attention has now turned to Livramento, I just wanna be co more confident he’s ahead of Hall.

I'd say Livramento is definitely ahead of Hall. He's a few years ahead on his development too. Such a quailty player. Will no doubt get a bit if rest over Christmas - same as most.

Would potentially go there if not for Dubravka popping up!

I do like Saliba for the same reason as you. Nailedness matters so much. Can just see a clean sheets being hard to come by, Luton aside.

But good luck in your next week too... and screw Areola!

Yeah that’a true, Diddizz’s com went above touches on the same thing pretty much, certainly seems ahead, just comes down to the rotation that we must just accept er these fast games now.
Dubravka like you say has thrown a bit a dilemma in the works as I also already have Trips.

Yeah Saliba is a solid pick, wished I’d of picked him up when I could of a couple GW’s back.
Cheers bud! I think I will showing Areola the exit! 🙂

What do people reckon on lascelles vs livramento? Bit more attacking threat for livra but reckon a few hall starts around chrimbo, then lascelles is nailed for 90 mins every game but only until botman is back (whenever that may be). Bit of a tricky one!

I currently have Lascelles - at the time he seemed a bit of a no-brainer Botman replacement. If picking now I'd go Liveramento I think though.

If you have Lascelles you keep him. Livramento is for new managers wanting a cheaper way into Newcastle-defense. And of course Lascelles is more secure starter, but Livramento has more upside going forward, like most offensive wing-backs.

I’m slightly regretting getting rid of Alvarez myself after he seemed to be in the middle of it today but you don’t get a Spurs defence every day. I like both but Solanke is nailed (Cunha maybe but will Neto affect his position?) and has a higher xGi over the last 6 (for those who like their stats).

      I’m going Salah cap

Same as last gw & the gws before. He is all fart & no poo. Last time he hauled was gw 4. He is cheap but this is December, Pep will rotate & early sub not out of the equation either.

Good time to try something different especially if one wants to gain rank.

Cunha & Salah(C) might be my choice. Will use the extra £ elsewhere.

A2. But I would think about Alvarez one more time. Until Kevin is back from injury I think Alvarez will play and start almost every game. Besides Watkins (who is much more expensive) he is ticking along more then alright.

Cunha have execellent next 2 fixtures at home and is a fun differential.

Yea but most in same boat.
Matip went off injured today so limits options for Liverpool, I think he plays but maybe gets an early sub it they're cruising.
Diaby was rested for most of today so think he starts next game.
Darwin I think starts again but just a guess. He's most likely to be rested out of the ones you've starred I think.
      Any decent subs?

I think Tsimikas is worth the risk until Robertson is back from injury. I don't like Diaby so much, but maybe you can't afford anyone better. You should consider Bowen and Palmer.

Darwin could be good sometimes, but I don't like that he only got 770 minutes of football in PL so far. I think Isak is a better choice in December. (Wilson injured)

Defo cash to tripps. Then play him over Lascelles. Lascelles first sub.

    Salah Saka Martinelli Son Palmer
    Haaland Alvarez (Archer)

2FT & WC available, thinking Johnstone to Dubravka and rolling the other

Yes, it's the right thing to do. Save the funds for future upgrades.

Could you afford downgrade Johnstone to Dubravka and upgrade Martinelli to Odegaard?

Or maybe downgrade Martinelli to Gordon and Alvarez to Watkins?

Surely there’s got to be some upside in going with Odegaard over Saka (who I don’t own)? Ode is far less owned than Saka and is a bit of a differential coming into a bit of form!

Would you carry free transfer? If not what move would you consider- 1.3 m in bank

    Areola
    Gabriel Guehi Tsimikas
Salah (c) Son Saka Mbeumo Palmer
    Haaland Darwin

    Strakosha Livramento Nketiah Taylor

Roll the transfer seems good. With 2 FT maybe you can downgrade Nketiah and have enough funds to upgrade Gabriel to Trippier?
