Drop Turner so have 2 playing keepers?

Think dropping Turner is obvious. The saving from shipping Areola is minimal - both rotate well & you have a backup keeper is Dubravka randomly dropped (which could happen). It's a no-brainier of which two to sell IMO.

Why I’m not planning buying Trippier

Is Trippier worth buying if we go into his nice fixture run of FUL,lut,NFO and he is on 4 yellows?

After those 3 he faces liv,MCI,avl

I think no I wouldn’t buy him then and I believe that he is aware he faces Spurs after Everton this gw so he is very cautious not to get booked this gw

He will probably be banned for FUL(H) as it’s very likely he gets booked away at Spurs and after that he isn’t worth buying for the next 2 easy fixtures

    That’s what I’m currently thinking

    1. have you seen cyan
      • 6 Years
      2 years, 2 days ago

Well I think your post is a bit misleading tbh. Trippier's fixtures are:
Everton, Spurs, Fulham, Luton, Forest, then the bad fixtures start.

I'd say all 5 of those fixtures are nice for Newcastle, sure he wont get 5 CS, but plenty of chances to haul.

I think I will just keep Trippier all season tbh unless I want TAA. He can return vs anyone IMO.

I don't care if he misses one game tbh. It is what it is.

    Evening! 1 FT & 0.9m ITB.

    Leno
    Trippier Gabriel Cash*
    Salah Son Mbuemo Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Watkins
    Areola // Nketiah Taylor Kabore

No Saka or Darwin going into this GW which will be fun, but hardly worth a hit to sell who I have.

One who probably does need to go is Cash (or Kabore), though. Cash's only sing grace is GW18.

    Cash to:
    A) James
    B) Saliba
    C) Porro
    D) Other

2x NEW defence is tempting but may but want to go Dubravka in GW17 & already doubled. Although 2x DEF is better for GW18!

Will probably be keeping my eyes peeled for Nketiah news in case of a lucky Luton start - but would you bench any of the front 7 anyway?

Grav bias 😉 but no, I'm definitely tempted. Even in tricky fixtures lately he's been getting returns.

Part of me just doesn't like doubling up on ARS centre backs with the next few fixtures. CS bust and nothing to look forward to. Although would be nice when they keep them, lol.

        Areola.

Considering Cash to James as I’m doing that badly,

Kinda given up: don’t own haaland. Will get him back when Salah goes to AFCON.

Sold Watkins for Nunez this week. Every 50-50 like that I’ve fallen wrong side of this year!

Like the saints though, we March on!

          don't give in

          that's the way to lose

the thing with James is everyone remembers the upside but I think he's only managed 4 points once this season.

          facts speak volumes ...

(hoping I'm not mistaken on that one!)

I have James, nice differential I am hoping. But the first week I got him, red card lmao

Son might be a monster captain differential this week. Or, he is going to punish me again and half my rank. Let the fun begin..

He could be - but with Matip's injury they'd need to play 3 CBs & they each have no real backup.

But then again Tsimikas does need rest & has played a few 90s in a row now. Tricky one.

If I had him I'd hold & play unless I heard he wasn't starting.

      none

      Turner or Lamptey then Cash?

Andersen has some tougher games up coming and Cash might need attacking returns before Sheff Utd in gw18

      then again

that could well be on at home ...

Yeah honestly I’ve not a clue what to do. Cash to Porro, Diaby to another mid could even do Cash to Trippier
