    Are people confident Darwin starts?

Will await any team news / leaks but may opt to start Palmer instead.

Would rather have Palmer play 70-90 mins than hope Darwin picks up points in 20 minutes off the bench

I’ve been posting a lot about Darwin recently, but I’d really rather have him for 20 mins against SHU than Palmer.

      I’d start Darwin.

Assuming Palmer is still on pens I am not sure I'd agree.

Darwin struggles to get points when he plays the full 90, not sure I would be confident in him scoring in 20

I hear that. But I think if you’re not betting on Darwin against SHU then sell?

Well I expect him to start vs Cry on the weekend.

3 games in a week, combined with bad performance this weekend and Gakpo doing well Europa.

Would make sense to me to start Gakpo and bring Darwin on off the bench.

Hoping for some team news / leak to confirm but seems unlikely

Yer, that’s a really good point. And against SHU could be a good time to rotate.

I have Darwin and won’t bench him. Partly because I wouldn’t have anyone of the calibre of Palmer on the bench; but even if I did, I think I would start Darwin.

Is there no-one else for you to bench?

He was appalling against Fulham. Klopp just seems to want to justify his existence.

and looks a game to get his confidence up

Yer it was bad, wasn’t it. But I think he starts. His work rate is exceptional and he makes changes/space for others (a la Firmino) - e.g., keeping the call alive for Trent’s goal.

                Responded above.

Don't think Gakpo deserves a start? Did well in Europa vs LASK.

Seems weird to start Darwin in all 3 games in a week.

For me it has to Thiago Silva - if I'm correct he's played 90 minutes every game and has some goal threat. To caveat this though I think all Chelsea defenders will miss one game each over the busy schedule especially Thiago as he's nearly 40!! But he'd be my choice over Colwill and James

Im toying between A and C. Tsimikas and Livramento will surely both get some rests but VVD cost a lot for a team conceding a few goals and not had the same goal threat where the other two carry assist potential.

Some players just instinctively know where the goal is and Darwin isn't one of them, yet people are still buying him in their droves.
Imagine if your family send you out to buy a Christmas tree and you come back with a twelve foot Cactus you can't fit through the door. You are now Darwin Nunez Ribeiro.
    Keep buying peeps, keep buying.

You could put the cactus in your front garden, put lots of beautiful lights and decorations on it, be the envy of the neighborhood as trendsetter, make the local news papers and become a minor celebrity, though....

      Same with Darwin

Julian Alvarez, hold or sell? I love this player and as long as he starts I want to keep him but City fans I speak to want more midfielders by trade in the team, so even with their injury crisis we could see Stones-Kovacic-Bernardo with Foden and Lewis on the wings. They blame Alvarez for the spike in goals conceded due to a lack of control. Not sure I agree but what matters is whether Pep does.

      Id keep...

Uptick in form, should have returned more last GW. Double figures on way

If Haaland gets ban, he goes to CF

Unlikely to be rotated with other injuries
