There are six Premier League matches this evening, four of them kicking off at 18:30 GMT and another two getting underway 45 minutes later.

With three rounds of top-flight matches taking place in the space of a week, rotation was always a worry going into Gameweek 15.

And there are some high-profile benchings around the grounds tonight.

Kostas Tsimikas and Darwin Nunez are two well-owned names who are among the substitutes at Bramall Lane.

The injured Joel Matip and the benched Ryan Gravenberch also make way from the Liverpool side that defeated Fulham.

Ibrahima Konate, Wataru Endo, Cody Gakpo and Joe Gomez all come into Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI.

Returning Sheffield United head coach Chris Wilder makes five changes from the side that lined up in Paul Heckingbottom’s farewell game.

Jayden Bogle, Vini Souza, James McAtee, Andre Brooks and William Osula are the beneficiaries, as budget FPL forward Cameron Archer keeps his place.

John Fleck, Luke Thomas and Oliver Norwood drop to the bench, while Oli McBurnie is suspended and George Baldock is injured.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial pay the price for their performances in the 1-0 defeat by Newcastle United on Saturday.

The out-of-sorts pair, along with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kobbie Mainoo, are demoted to the bench tonight.

Victor Lindelof, Sofyan Amrabat, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund come into the starting line-up.

Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurella are recalled to the Chelsea starting XI, with Benoit Badiashile making way. Conor Gallagher is banned.

Reece James is available again after suspension but has to make do with a place on the bench.

And so too do Matty Cash and Moussa Diaby at Villa Park, with Unai Emery’s only change seeing Boubacar Kamara come in for Nicolo Zaniolo.

Pep Guardiola’s two alterations are enforced, with Rodri banned and Jeremy Doku injured.

John Stones and Rico Lewis step up to start in their places.

Prolific tinkerer Roberto De Zerbi has been relatively restrained by his standards, making only three changes.

Kaoru Mitoma, Joao Pedro and Pascal Gross return to the starting XI after weekend breathers, as Joel Veltman and Evan Ferguson – who have both racked up the minutes since the international break – drop down to the bench.

Adam Lallana misses out.

As for visitors Brentford, Mads Roerslev and Shandon Baptiste come in for the suspended Christian Norgaard and the benched Yoane Wissa.

There are nine alterations across the two teams at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva brings in Tosin Adarabioyo, Tom Cairney, Willian and Timothy Castagne for Kenny Tete, Tim Ream, Harrison Reed and Harry Wilson.

Divock Origi gets his first start for Nottingham Forest, who also recall Callum Hudson-Odoi, Felipe, Ola Aina and Nicolas Dominguez.

Morgan Gibbs-White is the headline omission, dropping down to the bench along with Chris Wood and Ryan Yates.

Willy Boly, who was injured in the match against Everton, and Serge Aurier are not part of Steve Cooper’s squad.

It’s a relatively serene picture at Selhurst Park amid the teamsheet carnage elsewhere, with just one change apiece.

Crystal Palace’s Jeffrey Schlupp is available again and takes the place of Will Hughes, while Luis Sinisterra starts at the expense of Marcus Tavernier in Andoni Iraola’s only alteration.
