Anyone else happy with Archer (BRE) stepping in for Son (if injured) this week? This, as opposed to taking a hit.

Looking at Chelsea, thinking Sanchez is really the best bet from def? Possibly even better option than Dubravka?

      not sure

there attack is slightly better away I think

... on paper at least. Is Lewis secure for starts or not?

Thinking of Mitchell to Livra and probably Diaby to Palmer to be able to afford Alvarez to Watkins next.

Does Livramento still make sense over the next 4 games?

David Moyes asked when he expects Alphonse Areola to be available after injury: "Not quite sure yet. He's just got a little bit of ligament damage in his wrist. We're not quite sure if he's ready. We thought he would be ready for tonight [Gameweek 15 vs Spurs]. We'll find out."

I know the fixtures look appealing but so far Chelsea have only kept 2 clean sheets.

Home to Luton in a 3 nil and away at West London rivals Fulham in a 2 nil win.

I can see the appeal in their value attackers but defence is still a wait and see for me.

Chelsea have 3 cs, not great but still... Sanchez also has 10 more saves than Pope and 6 more bonus points. I'm not saying he's a better option, just that there isn't much difference points wise between Sanchez / Newcastle keeper

I had Bowen in my team all season and never even thought of removing him until he got injured, then made the unfortunate move onto Mbuemo who is now injured.

The question is do I go back to Bowen or move onto Palmer?

Palmer's price is so appealing, I can finally improve my bench but Bowen is so consistent. What do you guys think?

I think Bowen is worth the extra cost. I know Palmer finally got his goal in open play, but otherwise he's being reliant on pens, of which Chelsea have had way more than usual in a short period of time. He's very tempting for the price, and both he and Bowen are likely going to be rising in value over the coming week, so both are good options, I just prefer Bowen, and if something happens, he's easier to move off onto another player (owing to his higher price).

  18. Kante Touch This

My defence is a mess right now:
-Triple NCL (Trippier, Lascelles and Dub) who are looking tired even before their fixture pile up
-Tsimikas who looks like he's been dropped for Gomez
-Mitchell who's yellow but needs to get out of my team
    -Taylor as fodder

With Chelseas fixtures *and Chelsea fan bias* I'm looking at Colwill or James, Colwill allows me to spread an extra 1m into my defence over the next few weeks, but feel like James has the higher ceiling (Although he's not done much this season)

Any suggestions on how to fix this mess?

      Hold the others

Sell Mitchell to Colwill in your situation then

      I'm likely going to Livra

after Spurs Newcastle have Fulham, Luton away and Forest which looks okay into my wildcard.

    3. AIRMILES
      • 14 Years
      2 years, 2 months ago

I wouldn't touch James. He can be glorious, but I wouldn't bring him in unless you have decent bench options to cover his inevitable injury, otherwise you risk having to transfer him out very soon.

I would stick with Trippier and Dubravka. Tsimikas might start the next game, I think Klopp just wanted to give him a break (I could be wrong). I'd probably just look to move out Lascelles and/or Mitchell. There are not many great options currently. Clean sheets are hard to come by.

      1. AIRMILES
        • 14 Years
        2 years, 2 months ago

*I'm only suggesting you drop Lascelles as I think triple up on Newcastle defence is too many eggs. I have Lascelles, Trippier and Gordon. Lascelles is mainly a bench player for me.

    Hi all,

Recommended transfers for this week? Got a few issues
    A) Turner/Areola to Dubravka/Sanchez
    B) Cash/Guehi to Chelsea defender
    C) Other suggestions

    Turner
    Gabriel Lascelles Tsimikas
    Saka Gordon Son Salah Palmer
    Haaland Watkins

    Areola Guehi Cash Woodrow

I guess A would be the priority to ensure you have 11

Sounds like Areola will be okay if they expected him to play v Spurs?

    Is this worth a -4?
