Our Members Videos continue with another installment ahead of the Gameweek 16 deadline.

This week, Scoutcaster and Hall of Fame #16 Seb Wassell is joined by David Munday for a live stream.

As every man and his dog flocked now feels forced to sell Bryan Mbeumo (£7.1m), David and Seb take a look at what the Members Area can tell us about the upcoming Gameweek.

They also go over their latest plans, with Seb considering finally bringing Erling Haaland (£14.0m) back into his team.

They are also on hand to help you with any of your own dilemmas.

The video is available to watch at 8:15pm UK time via the embedded link below.

There was also a live Q&A earlier today if you’re in the mood for more visual offerings, plus a whole host of other content in the Gameweek 16 playlist.

    Areola
    Trippier Tsimikas Zinchenko
    Saka Salah Son Palmer Gordon
    Solanke Haaland

    Turner - Archer - Lascelles - Taylor

    1.8m ITB

Used my transfer this week on Mbuemo to Palmer. I feel like Watkins in 18 is really important and money is so tight right now. I need a new keeper though. Dubravka the obvious choice but I already have three Newcastle. I guess I just hope Areola plays this gameweek.

Next week Areola + Lascelles to Colwill + Dubravka (-4)

then GW18 Solanke to Watkins and Tsimikas down to a 4.4 (-4)

I don't really like booking in -4's but I can't see any other way to get a playing Goalkeeper and get Watkins in 18 plus he has nice fixtures after that as well and he keeps hurting my rank not owning him.

Do I just take the -8 this week and at least get the price rises?

    Thoughts?

URGH price rises are giving me a headache honestly. It's so annoying everyone is bringing in Dubravka this week with this bad fixture. I was hoping he wasn't going to go up again so quickly.

Hwang is only good for a couple of weeks. He's off to Asian cup, so not worth getting for a hit IMO. If you just need cheap, then Palmer or Luis Diaz would be good alternatives, or Gordon if you have extra.

Another one here trying to decide on Mbeumo replacement. Max £7.9m. Already have Salah, Saka, Palmer, Adingra

I'm torn between Hee Chan, Sterling and Gordon.

4 yellow cards is putting me off the former two. Already having two Newcastle players is putting me off Gordon in case in want Alvarez -> Isak in near future

The 5th yellow thing for someone like Sterling… at this time of year, doesn’t that just mean that at least his rest is predictable and you get your sub in, rather than him coming on for the last 10 mins to block Taylor’s 15-pointer?

      Dubravka maybe

      @BigManBakar

Dubravka is an absolute gift for his price.

Newcastle are one of the best defences in the league - in fact, they are only behind Man City and Arsenal for non penalty xG conceded this season.

Their fixtures, particularly from Gameweek 17, are exceptional and with news of Nick Pope's long term injury, Dubravka becomes an immediate hit on the fantasy menu.

    Leno
    Trippier Porro Gabriel
    Salah Son* Mbuemo* Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Watkins
    Areola* // Nketiah Taylor Kabore

    A) Mbuemo > Gross
    B) Mbuemo > Bailey
    C) Mbuemo > [other 6.4m MID]
    D) Mbuemo/Son > Bowen/Saka (-4)

For A-C, the next GW move would be Nketiah > Solanke (LUT).

      D. Then for the Solanke move, try reducing Porro to Colwill (for the fixture run)?

I literally just got Porro and no reason to sell. He's got encouraging numbers.

I'd probably be downgrading Nketiah to fodder (e.g. Semenyo) with option D. Maybe Cunha or Pedro but don't love those.

Nope. Maybe some, and he's not bad for the price, but I think he's being a bit overhyped right now because of injured goalkeepers.

All goalkeepers points totals are way below def/mid/atk so I wouldn't invest too much in them right now.

I would prefer Onana almost right now. Only left in 7 goals the past 8 or so games and only 0.2 more expensive.

But Dubrawka is just cheap cheap. Bargain in the shorter term.

      1. boroie
        • 7 Years

Don’t think he’s being overhyped. I think it’s his ridiculously good run of fixtures. He’s a set and forget for a long time. And saves you having to take risks on Chelsea defence where nobody is a cert to start.

I think I will bring him in- Son's potential absence has forced my hand.

I think there are valid reasons for not bringing him in- City's bad form and Luton's strong recent performances- so for once he may not be the safe option.

I think if Son is fit he has great fixtures after this week so that's what makes it difficult.

Ironically, the only time in his last 5 games he *didn't* blank was in the toughest fixture!

    Johnstone
    Tsmikas Trippier Porro
    Salah Saka Palmer Son* Mbuemo*
    Watkins Alvarez
    (Turner Anderson Osula Lamptey*)

Have exact funds for this (-4):

Mbuemo, Son, Alvarez to Bowen, Hwang, Haaland

Is this a no-brainer? I last had Haaland GW7 and it's gone well without him, but perhaps it's time to return him to the fold?
