Taking a hit for Turner > Dubravka cost me 5 pts. (-4 for hit and 1 pt. less than Turner) and a green arrow this week. 🙁

Went from 14% gain to 21% loss in OR.

Hits rarely worth it for defenders, particularly one that was unlikely to keep a CS this week
Dubravka fixtures pretty good from here though

Shockingly only have 9 starters for next week pending Haaland's status. So confused about who to boot first here:

    A) Alvarez
    B) Haaland
    C) Trippier
    D) Darwin
    E) One of the bench fodder

    Sanchez
    Saliba - Tsimikas
    Salah - Son - Gordon - Palmer
    Darwin - Alvarez

    (Turner) - (Haaland - Trippier - Taylor - Anderson - Lamptey) - 1FT - 1.4 ITB

    1. NATSTER
      • 15 Years
      2 years, 4 months ago

Sanchez got injured. You have to hope Turner keeps his place too.

If Haaland out, Alvarez will be leading the line.
Trippier is banned, but still good.
      Darwin has poor United.

I think one of the bench fodder should be upgraded.

Looking at all these players out next week, and only got 1 FT.

    Injuries:
    Haaland
    James
    Areola

    Suspensions:
    James
    Taylor (my only sub cover)

I think I need to do James>Porro. That needs sorting for sure. Areola I hope starts, if he doesnt I have no keeper. Haaland, I wiat until Friday and hopefully he starts. Then assuming those two start, I just do a Taylor uprgade, so will be a -4.

don't panic. I think we just need to hold our nerve this week and hope some players are fit, like Areola.

At the end of the day, a -4 for a keeper doesnt really make sense, and a -4 for a defender doesnt make much sense either with no cs.

High chance I field only 10 next week, possibly 9.

What a gameweek. I was sure I was hitting all time low yesterday and ended on 44 thanks to Leno and Son

If I’d captained Son I’d have jumped to 300k rank from 1.3m. Never would have done it as I expected Newcastle to win if I’m honest but what a jump that would have been

    Please help this poor lad.
    Desperate times needs desperate measures.

    A) Haaland James Bowen to Solanke Son Porro (-8) (Bench Gordon or Palmer next GW)
    B) James+Bowen to 4,6 DEF +Son (-4) (Pau Torres or Colwill)
    C) James to Porro (pray one more GW without Son)

    Dubravka
    Lascelles Gabriel Tsimikas (Guehi, James**)
    Salah Saka Gordon Bowen Palmer
    Haaland Alvarez Watkins

Callum Wilson complaining about opposition goalkeepers celebrating. He wasn’t even on the pitch against Everton on Thursday night.

He certainly enjoyed celebrating his goal in front of the Gwladys Street last season, with some fairly prolonged goading of the fans.

Good footballer, like, but he needs to wind his neck in.
