Been stuck in this WC draft for some time now. Thoughts?

    Raya Dubravka
    TAA Porro Estu Gabriel Gusto
    Saka Foden Son* Bowen Garnacho
    Solanke Watkins Alvarez

Keeping Son benched and hope for gw23 return

Money itb for Alvarez/Foden to Haaland/Palmer once Haaland is fit

No route to Salah, unless ditching one of Haaland, Son or TAA. I'm fine with that for now.

I agree with this. Lots will captain Salah ,going without could hurt. So could going without Son, but I have been without him for weeks and it hasn’t hurt.

    Areola
    TAA Porro Walker
    Salah(C) Son Saka Bowen Palmer
    Watkins Solanke

    Dubravka Ferguson Saliba Taylor

    Correct starting order?

    Areola (Dubravka)
Trent - Porro - Saliba (Colwill, Taylor)
    Diaby - Salah (C) - Son - Saka - Palmer
    Solanke - Watkins (Archer)

    1FT 2.8M ITB

    A) Roll (but don't think Diaby starts)
    B) Diaby to Foden
    C) Diaby to Bowen
    D) Archer to Alvarez (will struggle to get Haaland in without multiple hits)

It’s a no-brainer if you watch content creators. If you watch Alvarez, it’s not a good move, unless you have 2 FTs

      Not necessarily...

Not because people are expressing caution on bringing in Alvarez now.

But because Nunez could smash it again on Monday night.

I think B has most upside. Not too sure on Richarlison, seems to have this back issue that's resulting in early subs and despite him scoring in 3 in a row before last night, his stats haven't actually been good (only had 2 shots in the last 2 games before Brighton), but Gordon out does feel sensible. I would certainly only do one though and roll the other FT to deal with Salah and/or Son next week

Cheers. This was valuable input, thanks, didn’t know about Richa back problems. Alvarez feels most right/least wrong, but also feels like booking in a transfer later on… but maybe just take the points now and worry about that later.

        1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
          • 5 Years

I might be wrong and it's cleared up but he was subbed early last weekend and Postecoglu mentioned it so him getting subbed just after 60mins again last night when chasing the game suggests it's still a problem even if minor, Kulu is suspended too so Spurs might be lacking that extra bit of threat. I understand the feelings on Alvarez, I'm on WC and had a good think about him but I do feel there are better options long term and I'm not fully convinced, but short term I think he's a fine choice

Yeah, that seems worrying for Spurs. Richa in any case nowhere near essential vs an in-form BOU. Alvarez seems the most logical choice even if it means playing Guehi at the back. Thanks for the input!
