Early thoughts on how to handle gw25, 26 & 29 - could do with two FH chips

Expecting my gw26 bench to be Trent, Porro and Palmer as they all have value locked in, so may have to use hits to get rid of the likes of Richarlison or Jota

If I end up doing the hokey-cokey with some players, I prefer it to be for free and not costing me 0.2m 🙂

I'm expecting FH in gw29 unless it's practical to dead end in 29 and then WC gw30

The problem will be blankers in gw26 who also have dgw in 25 ... Do I get them or avoid them

Dgw is anything but certain yet. I don't believe in wasting FH too early if it isn't necessary or good planning helps to save it without any serious damage.

Hope you all have a nice weekend peeps

Not looking at FPL until next Friday, after what feels like a measly score of 83 this week

So strange how they’ve spread all the games across 2 weeks too

    Haaland

Based on Pep’s words doubt he plays against Newcastle and has a further two weeks rest

If not involved at the wknd I’ll keep Alvarez and save 4 points

I tried to find good spreadsheet about fixtures etc, but Crellin's seems to be behind £ and Hub. Couldn't find anything useful on member's area either. Not complaining (much?), but where is spreadsheet decent enough?

Not keen to make one on my own anymore, since Crellin did the job at least as well and there was no point at the time. And I believe someone else also has done the job.

Interesting note for tonight's FA cup games (for anyone who doesn't speak Crellinese, but still actually cares...)

We could already have our first guaranteed fixture in BGW 29 after tonight, since Brentford, Wolves, Fulham, Spurs, and Burnley all play.

GW 29 has Burnley vs Brentford (ON if Wolves & Spurs win tonight) and Fulham vs Spurs (ON if Rotherham & Burnley win tonight).

I would say Yes - Salah to Bowen - I did that when details confirmed.

I have had the following during the GW before next weekend
Salah has now dropped (0.1) & Bowen has risen 0.2 - allow chance of points
now in next three GW's plus additional funds if looking to acquire Salah/Son back & get Haaland into my squad

      West Ham United have GW21 SHU (A) / GW22 BOU (H) / GW23 Man U (A) they could win all?

you reckon when Son comes back he goes back to playing striker? (with Kulu back to RW, and Solomon likely back as well).

richarlison just doesnt strike the ball anywhere near as clean as son

    1. Meechum

I think Son stays out on the wing. All they need Richy for is the finish. Son and Johnson/Kulu penetrate the wings and fire crosses in if they don't cut in and take the shot themselves.
I think Son is deadlier when he can get involved down the line with his pace.

    Dubravka
    Udogie - Mykolenko - Gabriel - Estupinan
    Bowen - Saka - Son(away) - Salah(away)
    Darwin Watkins
    Archer - Maguire(injured) - Ahamada(doesnt play)

you're likely doing better than me 😀 60 points isnt that much behind, DGWs help catch up in the second half the season as well

something like Son + Salah + Ahamada to 3 mids of choice (Jota/rich/foden etc) would be decent and bench myko as i expect villa to score

then darwin if blanks this coming gw and looks poor could be shifted for haaland following gw.

I have my doubts haha. I appreciate the time taken, fantastic advice never considered the option of shipping Ahamada for a playing mid. As you stated also allows me to pull the trigger and get Darwin back the week after if required.
Would you do the transfers now to avoid rises or hang fire a little while?

        😀 throwback

but really, kulu doesnt work on the right because he never hits the byline and is so predictable, johnson looks much better rw, just hitting the ball past his man and driving in a cross

at this point son will have to play lw just because hes the only spurs attacker thats willing to hit the byline on the left and use his left foot. with no overlapping full backs most of the time your wingers cant be cutting like this, even switching kulu and johnson right now in this match would help

It is actually weird how Udogie isn't overlapping every opportunity he gets, seeing how he was pretty much a LWB/LM when he played for Udinese. Ange playing him deeper it seems, not letting him bomb so much forward becuase of Porro probably.

yeah agreed. idk if its something to do with wanting to flood the middle of the pitch so easier to win the ball back when they lose it, but just so congested in the final third.

Covering my bases next week with Rich and Johnson (already have Richy). Spurs have scored in 32 consecutive games so things have to come from at least one of them...hopefully.

Son has scored 12 and assisted 5 this season. Very often it has been his individual talent only.

What happened to Lyle Foster? Tactical sub off or injury?
