I've seen a few who punted on Eze this week. But is Olise the better option going forward? Looking at his last few games for Palace his returns are amazing. Looking for a cheap midfielder to bring Haaland back.

55 points in his last 5 starts for 5.9 in a poor Palace team, surely he is worth looking at?

8.6 points per start this season, a better average than any other player in the game (...who has made more than two starts)

He is surely doing something right then. Hodgson said he should be fine and was more of a precaution.

This is the first week in a long while where I feel like I may be in trouble of not making the cut (only Bowen left to play, and I am at 39 pts.)

Will be very close. 40% have Bowen, 60% have Areola and Bowen so need to dodge them.

I am doing the same move....with the way Bradley is playing, I think they will share mins quite often....8.5m is a huge price for a defender who may not play 90mins going forward

    Early transfer thoughts:

    - Save FT.
Based on the info we have now I don't think 24 mins tonight after 7-8 weeks out is enough to start the next game.

    - Alvarez to Haaland if we get a leak he starts.

Captaincy between Solanke and Watkins, bussed on Solanke.

Foden benched at the moment but tough to pick an attacker.

With City back to full strength, it looks like we're back to regular rotation in midfield/attacking spots. Sitting on Bernardo and Foden (and Walker) and feels very hard to know what to expect going forward. Need to get rid of one of the 3 to facilitate Haaland but very unsure who. Grealish, Doku and KDB's return puts both Foden and Bernardo at risk and at risk of being pushed into less attacking roles it feels like

Salah not likely to be fit until GW25 & even with his injury he'll likely be eased back in

Liverpool blank GW26 & likely to in GW29, so I don't think need to worry about Salah until GW30 by which point got WC to make major changes

Wouldn't want to sell either to be honest this week
Don't think you sell a player vs. Sheff Utd full stop while Solanke has the worst GK in the league who just concedes every shot on target
Solanke has the scope for a DGW vs. BUR/LUT or SHU/LUT if you believe Crellin's spreadsheet in GW27/28

Perhaps Alvarez if you think he is benched just on xMins
Foden's stats drop off a lot when KDB is playing though

Foden's xGI was 0.21 and it was burnley! I"m not even sure that he starts next on.

    I’m giving Haaland another week

I am considering that, but I fear him to start next one.

Away to Brentford hasn’t been a great fixture. Didn’t look sharp.

For me it would involve a hit and losing Alvarez, Watkins or Solanke. Not sure we need to be too bothered…

I’m with you, tripled up on KDB, Foden, and Alvarez. Would need to take a hit to get Haaland in and am not sure he’s a better captain option than the likes of Solanke.

I do actually agree, but we are not yet 100% certain that Solanke starts next one (after Shu).

Same, he might not even start anyway and looked rusty

Same, one blank doesn’t make him a bad option. He’s gone for Darwin if he doesn’t haul against Brentford next week though

Anyone tempted by saka or foden to Gordon, to enable halaand in a week

I’ve got Saka and Martinelli. I’m selling Martinelli to get Gordon. Newcastle fixtures amazing, everyone’s blinded by doubles and Liverpool fixture isn’t even confirmed yet and it’s only 3 weeks away. I wouldn’t sell Foden or Saka though

He might even start upfront too with Wilson and Isak Injured!

Just realised I'm blocked from getting Gordon currently anyway as have lascelles, trippier and dubravka!

    Sell one for Jota:

    A. Gordon
    B. Bowen
    C. Foden

    Sell one for Haaland:

    1. Watkins
    2. Darwin

Cheers, actually thinking to bring in KDB instead of Haaland this week now.

        Foden > KDB
        Bowen/Saka > Jota

I wouldn't sell any for Jota unless GW25 is a confirmed double.

And if a double is confirmed I wouldn't sell Darwin.

Thanks, probably sensible! When do we find out if Liverpool have a double in GW25?

    A) Sell Son (Eze/Gordon/Jota) and give myself a benching headache

    B) Roll
