I need some help here lads…

    Dubravka
    TAA Trippier Porro
    Jota Saka Foden Palmer Richarlison
    Watkins Haaland
    Areola Alvarez Baldock Gabriel

2 FTs, 1.0 in the bank

    A) Should I use both free transfers to get in VVD for the next three Pool games ?
    B) something else
    C) burn the transfer

From GW26, if you had to pick two out of the three. Who would you go for?

    1) Cunha
    2) Neto
    3) Hwang

The reason I ask is I'll be dropping my Liverpool players for them during the blank, I could go Jota + Diaz instead of Jota + Darwin to help facilitate the moves, so essentially:

    1) Darwin + Jota for the next two, then Cunha + Hwang/Neto
    2) Diaz + Jota for the next two, then Hwang + Neto

      i'm considering palmer + Darwin > Hwang + Cunha for 26
also still having nightmares from hooking Cunha for Haaland last week 🙁

    4. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years

I'm thinking about this too. The temptation is to go Cunha + 1 if only because I feel like the competition for mid spots is tougher (since I want to WC back into Salah & Son in a few weeks). But tbh I think Hwang & Neto might actually be the higher scoring combo, and there are a few more appealing forward options now with the DGWs

Extremely likely I will do Watkins to Adebayo this week. Great home game against Sheff Utd. Luton full of goals and attacking intent and he doubles in 25 and 28. It also frees up a ton of cash to easily move for Salah ahead of the crowd - maybe even for Liverpool's double depending on fitness reports. Under 20% ownership makes a great FPL asset like Salah a differential who people will be falling over themselves to buy soon enough.

Not sure if I would want to lose Solanke. His fixtures in the next 3 aren’t great but starting GW 27 they look really nice. With so much ITB, I would move archer all the way to Haaland.

    1. RoyaleBlue
      • 14 Years
      1 year, 10 months ago

They aren’t all confirmed yet mate, as there is still another round of FA cup fixtures before 29.

      Definitely on in 29:
      Bur v Bre
      Ful v Spurs
      Wha v Avl

Most likely FA Cup results imo:
      Bou W v Lei
      New W v Bburn
      Mci W v Luton
      Forest v Utd (coin flip)
      Che W v Lee
      Wol v Bri (coin flip)
      Liv W v Sou

This prediction would mean only one other fixture on would be:
Lut V Forest or Utd v Shu (equally likely imo)

Obviously cupsets could add a few more or even mean it’s just the 3 confirmed above.

        There virtually always is.

My money would be on Leicester, Blackburn or even Leeds.

Is Solanke a wild TC in 28? Or is it better to play it next GW on a KDB/Haaland/Darwin? I suppose the slight risk waiting a few more weeks for 28 is an injury to Solanke and then finding a week for TC chip becomes a bit tougher given that I’ll still have BB to use too

What's the maximum amount of fixtures for GW29 for you to think a FH isn't worth it, you'll just play the week with 4,5,6 players?

    Three?
    Four?
    Five?
    Six?
    Seven?
    Eight?

      I'd say 8 or 9.

Why are people so willing to sacrifice gw29 but would hit away into a dgw?

        I've answered for players.

For fixtures the fewer the better for a FH.

As long as there's 2 fixtures and 4 teams then a FH29 is on.

4 or 5 might be optimal. The more template players missing the better for free hit purposes.

Interesting, I figure if there's only two fixtures (four teams) I'd happily navigate that without a FH!

            It's the opposite.

A free hitter would have 12 players to everyone else v few.

            It would be gold.

I suspect 4-6 fixtures is good for a FH too.

Can I get a bit of advice? Eventful period at job made me log out a bit of dgw and bgw bonanza and now come gw24 i am really not sure which route to take and how to navigate blanks given my team. Probably the main question is, would you FH in 29 with this team or aim to navigate through it?

Archer -> Darwin (-4) if it likely means no Jota or Salah next week? Gordon bench this week as I doubt he’ll be fit in time.

It could pay back but a hit for Darwin could be double jeopardy.

Unless Salah is looking likely I'd hold back from him too.

Why not Gordon to Jota out of interest?

Mainly because from what I’ve read his injury isn’t too bad so he could be back soon - BOU next week and he doesn’t blank in 26. I think I marginally prefer Jota over Darwin, but Archer is pretty much a dead asset and at least Gordon can still offer something

Fair enough, guess I'm thinking more of gw24 and the double that follows.

          There's sacrifices everywhere.

I've got Saka over Richarlison and when Son and Salah return it will take more choices and moves.

Also can't afford KDB myself with Trent and Haaland etc and a decent range of attacking players.

          Good luck
