Our team of Hall of Famers and guest writers are offering regular contributions throughout the 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) campaign. Here, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman shares his team and discusses his Gameweek 26 transfer plans.

As we head into Gameweek 26’s reduced fixture list, many managers are struggling to field eleven players, myself included.

Deciding on a correct course of action is tricky, given that I might Wildcard in Gameweek 27, but there are several plans available which I’ll run through here.

Transfers this week will very much depend on one’s own team, but hopefully, this piece will give you some ideas that you may find useful.

Fielding 10 at the moment, but wondering whether to transfer Palmer for Hwang for a -4. Must admit, it's FOMO driving that, but when I generally pile in last to the party, it's disappointment all round, so it would virtually guarantee a 1-0 or 2-0 victory for Wolves, with Neto scoring all goals.
(the 10 is Areola, Gabriel, Moreno, Estu, Ake, Foden, Saka, Odegaard, Haaland and Watkins).

  Actually, A doesn't really make much economic sense.
  
  The cost of the information is 2 points (as if I keep Gusto, I get 0 points this GW), but if I do Gusto -> Pau, at least I may get 2 this week, and then an extra FT over the period costs me 4 points, so net -2 for information.

Decided to get Odegaard back over bringing Garnacho in, on account of a better fixture next week and Toon being the worst defence his opponent this week. Eleven players for a -4. Two moves to set-up for DGW28. Will probably just add Solanke(c) but you never know might get Neto too.
