Liverpool with lots of their stars missing will still play like a Klopp team.
United with their stars out play like MK Dons.

The point was that ETH is $hite.

Klopp being better than him isn’t really worth mentioning and is blindingly obvious.

A few of them, true but inherited lots of duds too. Hojlund looks like he might turn out to be a good buy in the long run but Mount was a really bad one, imo.

Hojlund, Casemiro, Antony, Mount, Malacia, Eriksen, Martinez, Onana, Amrabat…

Only Hojlund and Martinez any good from that lot.

Casemiro and Eriksen did well last season but the former was probably overpriced for his age. Onana might work out ok if he reduces the mistakes. Resigning Evans was a good decision. Despite that, I agree that it's a poor return for the money spent. I think that Emery could do a good job at Utd.

      1. thegaffer82
        • 14 Years

Isn’t that just because most weeks there are very ‘obvious’ picks.
The content creators just sign post them to a wider audience.
Without said creators, there’d have still been a lot of interest in Hwang among the FFS community

No its stranger at this stage in the season. Content creators are good at getting high ranks but mot winning. They are playing defensively and going for blocking picks. All touting bad picks week after week now

Personally I didn't really get the wolves love in and sudden pivot to FH29 which seemed to happen overnight and was mostly driven, from my perspective, by a small number of content creators. Always made sense to me to keep options open for GW29 before the FA Cup and pick up a villa mid. Wolves aren't exactly prolific.

          1. thegaffer82
            • 14 Years
            2 years, 3 months ago

The pivot to FH 29 was always gonna happen. Most of us have got about 3-5 players likely to play in GW29. And transfers booked in to take advantage of DGW.
The weird thing was how long it took the creators to notice how bad their 29 teams were shaping up

              I've got these in now

              Areola
              Richarlison, Bailey,
              Watkins, Toney

Feel like it's a decent core and I should be able to cover most big players on FH, dependent on FA Cup shocks. Maximising DGW28 is a bit of a worry but I think there will be more value later on to save the FH for

              1. thegaffer82
                • 14 Years
                2 years, 3 months ago

You’re gonna lose points over DGW28 and Blank GW29.
Even from your position, it’s pretty obvious why people are starting to worry about this period and considering FH as GW28/29 get closer.
I’m still on the fence with…
                Areola
                Konsa
                Richarlison
                Watkins
                But it’s looking bleak

I had to commit to FH26 - already done D Jota & KDB to Son and Luiz for -4, giving me 7 for gw29 plus I have Morris and Doughty

The combination of bgw26, dgw28 and bgw29 was always going to cost hits, whichever way it is played

To be fair, I knew when I brought Hwang in that there was a fair chance the game would end up low scoring and dull. Wolves do struggle against poorer teams.
