Haaland + Richarlison > Solanke (TC) + Bowen (-4). Not pkaying FH29 and will have 9 with Bowen in.

    A) Yes
    B) No, only Haaland> Solanke

Is there another way to solanke?

Or maybe Rich - Semenyo. And use funds for Bowen in the mid?

      You’ll want Haaland back ASAP.

Other forwards are Toney and Watkins and I am not FHing 29.

I will WC 30/31 to bring Haaland back.

People taking -8s to get Luton and Bournemouth players in and play 8-9 players in GW29. All this just to save the FH chip.

How many points is the FH chip worth to you?

For me, +15 points and I’m happy.

Dubravka to Neto (-4) still close for this GW.

    - Hit may not pay off when I havw Areola but BOU have decent fixtures in 30-32 ao more GWs to cover the hit
    - Pope potentially back at the end of March (around GW30)
    - Newcastle potentially double in 34 (dead-end to WC35)
    - Opens Newcastle spot to target Isak, Gordon and Trippier/Botman

But more crumbs around your mouth eating it that way. Cutting diagonally makes it easier to eat without a mess.

True. I find eating diagonally cut toast more satisfying somehow, but it sags more. I worked in a Greek restaurant as a kid and funnily enough they taught me to let the toast cool before buttering.

Diagonal always seemed more elegant to me.

When I have time like to toast lightly, then use a glass to cut out a circle in the middle then break an egg in their and fry it up.

Bit trickier but can do a heart shape too when making breakfast before telling the Mrs you're going to the pub/golf course/match that afternoon.

        I don’t know, I’m questioning myself now!

Say I have Bruno and don’t want to play him in GW30 then, I could take a -4 now for a DGW player (or Bowen) knowing I’d be transferring him out after the BGW. I’ve taken a -4 but saved a later FT.

Hi chaps, just thinking ahead to how I accommodate Salah back in the squad here.

    Areola
    Gabriel - Zabarnyi - Saliba
    KDB - Saka - Son - Foden
    Watkins - Haaland - Solanke
    ____________________________
    Dubravka: Palmer: Branthwaite: Baldock

KDB > Salah is the obvious, but leaves me 1.8m short, and the only route round it I am finding is Saliba > 3.9 defender as I don’t want to lose anyone else!

Or how else would you go about it?

Saying this, I’ll likely be WC’ing anyway 30/31, which kind of makes this post now pointless haha!

This is what I was thinking, Richards fits fhe bill, but obviously this could all be spread out far better to accommodate better bench players with the WC, just thinking I may want Salah before even WC’ing

        1. IN SANE IN DE BRUYNE
          • 9 Years
          2 years, 1 month ago

With Salah in that front 8, would you need to WC?
You could use transfers on your defence, and save WC for later

          1. RICICLE
            • 3 Years
            2 years, 1 month ago

That’s a fair point actually, probably not and use it a bit later or when fit to do so, defence could surely then use some sharpening up if I did go for Richards. It’s a decent idea anyway, just still leaves the benching headache but often a nicer problem to have hehe

            1. IN SANE IN DE BRUYNE
              • 9 Years
              2 years, 1 month ago

That's my front eight and I'm going for a really cheap defense, and only planning transfers for defence at the moment.
Its challenging, but that front 8 is royal with cheese.
Benching headache, yes, but you always have a great bench option if someone in the front 8 is a doubt/injured.

Watkins has been killing me since I moved him to Darwin for the Double GW. If FH29, is it still viable to take him on? It means I can keep Haaland (possible differential) and get Salah GW30

    GW28
Ake, KDB & Darwin to Zabaryni, Son & Morris/Semenyo

    GW29 - FH

    GW30
Gross to Salah, for the below GW30 squad

    Kelleher
    Trippier Porro Zabaryni
    Salah Son Saka Gordon Garnacho
    Haaland Solanke
    (Areola Morris Gabriel Livramento)

Other option is WC28 but not a fan of WC in a heap of West Ham, Luton & Bournemouth, when I'll want them out for the run home

Assuming you’re bringing in Son on the 29 FH, what’s the imperative in doing a -4 this week? KDB could easily match Son this week straight up, much less factoring in a -4 handicap. Not gonna say it’s madness but it’s not a move I would make. A rested KDB in massively significant match is nothing to scoff at. Plus, Liverpool ain’t at full strength

It’s a quandary. I was leaning that way myself but I have a gut feeling about KDB this week, as well as not wanting Son against my Villa 😎

So I plan to get Son in after that anyway - so its just this fixture i'd miss out on by not having him

    Best option:

    1. Ake >> Zabarnyi / Doughty [-4]
    2. Play Ake / Porro (if fit)

Is it worth it taking a hit to bring in Doughty for Porro? I will then play Doughty instead of Bradley in 28.

    Plan is to FH29, WC35, BB37

    Areola
    Bradley Porro Kerkez
    Son Saka Odegaard Palmer
    Watkins Solanke Haaland

    Dubravka Foden Porro Branthwaite

    Backline of:
    VVD-Gabriel-Ake-Konsa-Branth

Only Gabriel has a decent chance of good points (unless I get a bullet VVD header)

Ake and Konsa to Kerkez and Doughty?

I'm assuming you are going FH29? Ake out is a good move given the tough and non-fixtures in the coming weeks. Konsashould be a good sell too, since Villa isn't keeping much CS.

    Foden -> Eze
    KDB -> Bowen

For a -4 this week. Leaving enough ££ for salah in 30?

Richarlison on the bench in case he’s available for 30…?

        Boooo
But i can make a transfer and play the free hit afterwards, and i'll keep the transfered player when FH GW IS over, right?

Please note that when playing either a Wildcard or your Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers will be lost. You will be back to the usual 1 free transfer the following Gameweek.

          No, part of FH.

Well, i wouldnt be saving it. I would be using it for my regular team, before hitting FH.
So you're telling me it will reset to the team i had the previous GW?
