I have but still feel nervous about using it this week. Is Solanke going to be playing through the pain again and so not 100% and possibly not play both games?? Think I will be saving for a GW 37 punt.

    Areola (Turner)

    Saka Foden KDB Son Hwang*
    Haaland Watkins Mateta

    1FT. 0.3m

    a) WC. Bring in Salah and 4/5 doublers, probably sell all ManC assets and prepare for bgw.

    b) Haaland-> Solanke + Hwang/KDB -> Bowen. Play Mateta against Luton! And FH next bgw.

    c) Mateta -> Solanke + KDB-> Bowen. And FH next bgw.

    d) B or C and keep FH for future.

      IF Bruno gets 2pts

Why outscore by 1? Would they not have to outscore by 4?
Barkley has a double so probably go Barkley..

        1. Q
          • 13 Years

Taking in to account the hits. Ie Bruno scores 2 (just for playing), bowen scores a goal 5 points -4 for the hit he has to take.

          1. Q
            • 13 Years

As Barkley plays twice he only needs an assist to outscore Bruno by 1 as he plays twice. Ie playing points 4, 1x assist 3 -4 for the hit =3 points to Bruno’s 2 (if he doesn’t score/assist etc)

Zabarnyi better than Doughty if on FH29 right? Or is Doughty still better in the long run? Bournemouth have good fixtures till 32 tho

    Thoughts on the below?
Leaning towards FH in 29 atm, only downside is going without Salah in 30.

    Areola
    Saliba Gabriel Doughty
    Foden Saka Gordon Son
    Watkins Haaland Solanke

    Dubravka Hwang Colwill Reguillon

    A:
GW28 Hwang and Dubravka to Palmer and Neto -4
    GW29 FH
    GW30 roll
    GW31 get Salah in

    B:
GW28 Haaland, Hwang to Morris, Bowen -4
GW29 Solanke and Gordon to Toney and Maddo -4 ( gives me 9 players)
    GW30 Bowen to Salah
    GW31 WC

    Just 1 fit defender atm.
FH 29 is current plan. For this GW would you-
    1. Take a -8, Senesi + Beyer out for Bour + Doughty. Well enough set for 30+.
    2. Just go the WC 28 route... (Go heavy on 28/29 + FH 34 probably). Easier route to Salah in 30 or 31.
I can see the pros of both options.

    Areola.
    Gabriel, *Porro, *Trippier.
    Foden, Saka, Son, Palmer.
    Watkins, Haaland, Solanke.
    Dubravka, Garnacho, *Senesi, *Beyer.

Tough. Normally I would say hits for Luton and Bournmouth defenders will probably only pay off if you did it last week for BOU or if not playing FH29 for LUT.

However, you are getting 2x0 so you'd have to think that Doughty and BOU defender will at the very least break even so I probably would do it. I'd argue Trippier makes more sense to lose - he probably isn't worth his value and frees up some cash for future moves

      1. Sz21
        • 14 Years

Considering this too. Newcastle may become important in the weeks ahead but getting Salah in for example a bigger priority than just keeping Trippier.

        At the moment thinking:
        GW29: Solanke > Muniz
        GW30: Bowen > Salah
        GW31: Watkins > Haaland
Depends on how Son is performing as well otherwise could downgrade Son and look to bring in Haaland for someone besides Watkins

    Good morning, all.

Here are today's press conference times, in GMT:

    9.30am - Howe
    1pm - Postecoglou, O'Neil, Glasner
1.30pm - Guardiola, Klopp, ten Hag, Nuno, Silva, Frank, Edwards, Kompany, Iraola
    2pm - Moyes

No De Zerbi or Emery listed yet. They were up and out of their chairs after their press conferences last night, so no embargoed bits to come. Could be tomorrow, could be a late addition today I guess.

Guys I know this may have been asked already…

With the potential DGW for BOU also in GW34 isn’t it worth a shot bringing in Neto for Dubravka -4 and benching Areola…?

Plus Pope is expected back soon…

Odds for Bournemouth 34 double have reduced.

Also can make an argument to open a Newcastle spot due to their potential double in 34.
