My bus team has Saka and Gabriel benched as well. Salah is definitely an option for this week or next - problem being how to fund that move. I have a bit more in the bank so I can do Foden->Salah, but not sure if this is the right move this week. Will think on it over the next 2 weeks!

Saka probably worth a start but the other attackers have reasonable fixtures.

Thinking about going early in the hope that weeks 1 and 2 will give us enough info.

Struggling with a week 1 set up And thinking I may need a re jig week 3 just to stay in the game.

My profile says casual of course.

Can afford a nice set of DGW3ers on original budget. Think I might start with Soltvedt, Finne, Gulbrandsen, Løvik, Tewelde and maybe Kirkevold then add a mid-priced mid from Brann & Molde in GW3. Then WC4, or deadend 4 / WC5 to avoid WCing directly in to Bodø v Molde

                Ha ok 🙂

There's a few teams blanking GW2 & 4 doubling in GW3. So I'd pick mainly for just those first 3 GW initially and WC after that. But the top 2 teams play each other in GW4 could push it to WC5

              Just read this properly.

WC4/5. Suppose that could add up but reluctant to plan for such an early WC. Distrustful of using early form as a guide - memory is that early season fixtures can be a little wild

I have a decent idea of the initial schedule but I'm picking all the players essentially on paper, so I just don't know how long I'll want to stick with that once I've watched 3 games, but we'll see, I'll try to keep it fairly balanced still & focus mainly on theb2 better clubs with DGW3 (Molde & Brann, 5th & 2nd place finishers last season)

The fixtures they've deleted definitely aren't on because of the FA Cup final weekend at Wembley.

Different ones might be arranged for the Tues/Wed that follows.

        Others may double.

        Some may blank still.

The blankers ... Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd can't double in FPL in gw34.

Some of their original opponents could blank like Brighton.

More or less taken season off from FPL - not even in Hall of Shame.

But beginning to get the bug again - hence interest in Eliteserien. Really enjoyed my season playing it - wasn’t around then but had the feel of old time FPL - anything possible

Serious about Munoz. Palace over last 2 seasons have top 8 form if both Eze and Olise play - could even happen from 30.

          Hope all good with you

        Postponements due to FA Cup

In addition, three Premier League fixtures have been postponed due to Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United reaching the FA Cup semi-finals.

Chelsea will no longer be able to visit Brighton & Hove Albion on the weekend of 20 April, while Man Utd's home match against Newcastle United and Man City's trip to Tottenham Hotspur will also be rearranged.

Furthermore, confirmation of movement to matches in Matchweeks 34 (20-21 April) and 35 (27-28 April) will be made in due course.

      Missed the start.

"The Premier League can confirm changes to kick-off times for three fixtures in April.

Aston Villa's participation in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday 11 April means they can no longer visit Arsenal on Saturday 13 April at 17:30 BST. That match will now be played on Sunday 14 April at 16:30 BST."

The important point is at the end.

Re-arranged fixtures tbc in due course.

I am selling either Watkins or Solanke in order to fund the Salah move. Which option is better?

    1) Ode + Watkins -> Salah + Semenyo + 1.7 to upgrade defence
    2) Ode + Solanke -> Salah + Semenyo

    Current squad:
    Dubravka Areola

    Haaland Watkins Solanke

I'd sell Solanke. I don't think his fixtures are as good as people are making out.

Everton have conceded less goals than Villa and Spurs.
Palace have conceded 48, on par with Newcastle.
Luton is the only fixture I can see that's decent.

Thought about Watkins to Darwin but then I looked at their stats. Watkins way ahead of him and having his best season. Just a question of is the wheels of the Villa bus coming off?
I will play Haaland, Foden and Saka gw30 if I hit the wildcard button. Just bench Gabriel. Those points are massive in a week where people don't play the best FPL assets...

Forest and Everton are on one or two charges that they are co-operating on.

Man City are defending something like 155 charges vigorously with all their paid advisors. It will be something like the post office scandal and a decade later clubs will be awarded cups and Man City removed from records and demoted.

      Except it won't ...

Because the Premier League and others including the Champions League won't want to tarnish it's own reputation when they broke away into this gravy train.

They'll all pull up the draw bridge.

Lawyers and IT companies and accountants and auditors were all prepared for innocent people to go to prison in the name of phoney losses at Post Offices, £££ that they recouped and took the dirty dollar.

It doesn't take much to corrupt people who can hide behind a faceless process...

The criminal justice system conivned and criminalised people in the name of the Crown for over a decade.

Not believing one innocent and former upstanding member of the community in the face of the bureaucracy and private sector.

It doesn't take much... Just the power of the herd and singling out the next victim.

About 40 innocent people a year imprisoned for ages ... Roughly equivalent to one sub postmasters per working week. Divide and conquer.

Foden to Salah now imo. Maddison alone vs Luton can outscore defenders like Reguilon etc who you would get in. WC 31 imo.

To what would you WC it? Arsenal and MCI play against each other. It could be low scoring game.

Saka, Foden, Haaland still good for that game imo. On a WC you could bench Saka for Muniz

But why ? In case of injuries ? Or because I need Son and Maddison and Watkins this gw ?

I expect Spurs to bounce back. Son and Maddison may get total of 25+ pts or even more. Have you seen Luton defending? You can get Salah for free, I believe.

I don't believe in astrology, but if stars are still aligned against gw29 free hitters, Spurs 5-1 wouldn't surprise me 😉
