    So with this Fantasy Challenge is it a bit like the World Cup ff - if a player plays in an early game and blanks I can sub him out for someone on my bench who hasn't played yet?

      No. Once a player has played he is locked for that week.

    Planning next week's GW31 transfer, which option would you prefer?

    a) D.Luiz & Solanke
    b) > Gordon & Solanke free
    c) > Foden & Muniz (-4)
    d) ?

      What’s your chip strategy? In isolation, B seems good (Gordon home to Everton - fired up against his old club).

      I’m building up to DGW34 but presume you have a FH or else Liv player against Shef Utd would be my play.

        Last line just "BB left" - will play it when the bench looks fit and at its strongest - possibly DGW37 after some transfers. I have two Liverpool so as long as Bradley keeps starting and I captain Salah for the easier matches that might be enough in the SGWs.

              Yes, I’m feeling a bit off the pace too. Part due to the IB and partly as everyone seems to be on different chip strategies, it’s difficult to engage.

              My approach is not to get too excited by all the ‘perfect match-ups’ and limit hits to maintaining reliable players but I always find this part of the season unpredictable

      If I go Isak on the WC,

    How’s it looking WC

    Onana Petrovic
    Gabriel Udog Lascelles Gusto Van De Ven
    Salah Saka Son Palmer Garnacho
    Haaland Darwin Solanke

    Then plan would be FH 34

    Gabriel to Schar after GW32
    Solanke to Hoijlund in GW33
    Darwin to Isak in GW35

    Keep two transfers for
    Saka to Foden in GW37
    Salah to KDB in GW37

    BB with 15

      Strong. I don't like VdV because it prevents the Spurs attacking double up which I think is preferred.

      I'd probably look at someone with a decent DGW in 37. Maybe someone like Ake who is also useful in GW31-33. If you need someone cheaper, can always pick up Van Hecke or someone like that.

      But I'd go Ake I think on WC.

    WC team:

    Kelleher Pickford
    Gabriel Porro Ait-Nouri Gusto Munoz
    Salah Saka Palmer Maddison Son
    Haaland Mateta Darwin

    Rough plan is
    GW31 Maddison -> Havertz
    GW32 Roll
    GW33 Porro -> Dalot
    GW34 Son -> Eze, Gusto -> Branthwaite and play BB
    GW35/36 Eze-> Son, Kelleher -> Petrovich
    GW37 FH
    GW38 we'll see ...

      I think it's a fine plan and I'm still a little surprised that the consensus landed the other way.

      I think holding Spurs players now has funnelled people and gw32 towards gw36 might not be a bed of roses for all the Spurs players.

      We'll see how it turns out.

        I've got £2.5m in the bank and just 0.1m of value in Foden having traded him a couple of times.
