    Pickford
    Gvardiol, Martinez, Burn
    Eze, Palmer, Salah, Son
    Pedro, Isak, Watkins

    Turner, Konsa, Winks, Hardwood

    Thoughts on 1st draft guys?

    Thanks

Cant say that I understand recent love about Pedro, I've seen him in a lot of drafts. Son maybe a touch too expensive.

Quite like having an 8th attacker in rotation given that the BPS changes seem to make 4 at the back less appealing, but don't really think Armstrong is cut out for the PL tbh

My first draft. Did not want to see any before I made mine! Let's see how different it'll be in a month.

    Sanchez | 4.0
    Gvardiol | Saliba | Mykolenko | Andersen | Harwood-Bellis
    Mbeumo | Eze | Gordon | Nkunku | Palmer
    Haaland | Isak (C) | 4.5

Looks good. Ars+City defenders are differentials here, but probably a wise choice… Mbeumo has difficult fixtures, but not a bad choice

Wouldn't go more than 9.0 for the two keepers.

While their fixtures are good, I'm not sure I'd want to commit to any LFC player apart from Salah and Trent until I've seen how they'll set up under the new manager.

Expensive in defense. Not hugely keen on Diaz or Gakpo/Darwin. There's too much uncertainty over Liverpool and how they will setup. I'd pick just one attacker and it would be Salah. Maybe that evolves over pre-season but having two attackers from Pool with a new manager doesn't appeal.

Thoughts on these drafts would be much appreciated. Either :

    Pope Flekken
    Romero, Branthwaite, Martinez Maatsen, Munoz
    Palmer, Salah, Rice, Hudson-O, Gordon
    Watkins, Isak Muniz

Then for gameweek 2 swap Rice for Bernado or Grealish

    Or

Same defence and front 3, but mids
    Palmer, Odegaard, Jota, Hudson-O, Gordon

Then for gameweek 2 swap Odegaard for Foden

Or should I go back to the drawing board ?

I’d take some of the money out of the 5.0 defenders to upgrade Rice and/or Muniz, too much value in the 4.5s this year to have so many mid-price defenders in a side imo. I’d also say Rice probably isn’t the best pick, Rogers from Aston Villa seems to be picking up a lot of interest at .5 less, more attacking winger. Think I prefer the first midfield though.

It’s not that it’s too much money in defence, but given the lack of clean sheets last season if you’re going to have money back there it makes more sense to me to have it much more concentrated than you do at the moment. Moving your three 5.0s to Trent and two playing 4.0s, or to Gvardiol/Arsenal and two 4.5s might also be worth considering.

    Good Morning All!

    Please RMT.
I've gone without Both Big Boys.
At first it seemed a bit mad, but Salah was a let own last season and Haaland is crazy expensive.

    First draft:

    Areola
    White - Gvardiol - Martinez
Saka (v) - Palmer - De Bruyne - Hudson Odoi
    Watkins - Havertz - Isak (c)

    Fabianski - Konsa - Robinson - Winks

the three 4.5 defenders seem to rotate nicely
and a decent balance of 6 premium talismans feels right for now.
    Any thoughts appreciated.
Ohhh its nice to be back

Foden was in there for de Bruyne.
Will probably be Foden instead of D.B

Im not a fan of switching goalies. Every time I seem to get the wrong one.
Was counting on Areola save potential and the set and forget factor of having his back up at 4.0.

I have KDB in my first draft. The rationale is that Pep normally gives players who have gone deep in international tournaments an extended break, and they can start slowly as a result. If I'm not choosing Foden on that basis or Haaland due to price, then KDB is the best City option.

I'm torn between KDB and Foden at the moment
Also, we have to remember that Foden's fitness is next to none. I think he could start GW1 no problem.

Foden for De Bruyne surely. I think weirdly enough I’m either going to end up with neither Salah nor Haaland or both. 3 x 4.5s looks a very good option this season, so if you’ve found a good rotation that’s all you need from them. I do agree with Greennred that two West Ham keepers doesn’t seem like the way to go.

    Sanchez | Fabianski
    Gvardiol | Burn | Andersen | Mykolenko | Harwood-Bellis
    Salah | Gordon | Eze | Nkunku | Hudson-Odoi
Haaland | Isak | Joao Pedro

Think there’s a decent balance there and two solid captaincy options. Would love to have Palmer here but can’t have them all.

    Trying a Haaland draft.

It is all gonna come down to how much I trust the budget slots in midfield. If I find confidence in Rogers, Minteh, Hutchinson, Sarabia (6m or under) level mids I can see this working. But primarily it's Rogers. If he continues to start on the wing for Villa, I rate the kid, he could unlock some interesting drafts.

    Petrovic 4.0
    Gvardiol Konsa Martinez Burn Faes
    Palmer Foden Rashford Rogers Winks
    Haaland Havertz Isak

Wouldn't surprise me if it was just lip service and they didn't even make the change to the code considering how unlikely it is to happen. Would be funny if a keeper scores in GW1 and only gets 6 points because FPL towers just didn't think it would ever happen.
