It was Salah + Hall + Gordon vs Gabriel + Saka + Minteh

I've been switching between the two of them. I fancy more Liverpool points in the first few gameweeks

Last piece of jigsaw is a 5.0m or less defender.

A - Munoz (double Palace defence with Hendo)
    B - Myko
    C - Hall
    D - Other option?

    Henderson
    Gabriel - Quansah - XXX
    Saka - Jota - Gordon - Eze
    Haaland - Isak - Solanke

Yeah makes sense. West Ham's revamped defence is just an unknown at the moment.

B Myko - Everton have good defence and he's cheap and nailed.

Sure Branthwaite is out, but I still see them being somewhat decent defensively.

Thanks. Dyche does know how to organise a defence even if the football isn't exactly attacking.

      Virginia (if you have pickford)

Look at whatever your main keeper is. does that team have a second keeper that's 4.0? That might be the best for you, because in the case of an injury, you'll definitely have a playing keeper. (only if the team has 2 goalies though)

Slicker, very rare youl want 3 Ipswich players and his price shouldn't really drop. No 4m keeper will currently start without injuries, so go for one that will keep his price

Depends, there are many players predicted to get close to Salah’s output, an inform Trent is on his own.

I’m starting to wonder if I want Trent with an Alisson/Quansah double up limiting his threat but I’m not thinking about swapping Saka out for Salah.

The problem is TAA hasn’t had any form for a very long time, in fact quite the opposite, he’s been lucky not to get dropped and they’ve moved him away from defending because he’s such a liability. Southgate completely ditched.

This is why I’m put off by Salah, this is a clean slate for everyone, new era, it’s a lot to invest when we have no idea how Slot will have them in the league.

Pre season is not an indicator, it’s a fitness builder, the appeal of Liverpools assets were Klopps style of play, if they play a more controlled game their assets could be massively over priced.

Heavy metal relentless football always gave you the chance of big returns

Alisson, Quansah & Jota feels a nice compromise until we see what’s what then commit on the WC, it’s not like there aren’t great options at cheaper prices, Gvadiol & Gabriel are just as threatening for attacking returns at 1m cheaper.

Horrendous defence. But figure I can always transfer Quansah or Hall for other 4.5m if needed.

    Hendo, Fabianski
    Hall, Saliba, Quansah, Barco, Harwood
    Jota, Saka, Gordon, Eze, ESR
    Haaland, Solanke, Isak

Just my 2 cents but why choose a "horrendous defence". You could downgrade an attacker (ESR to 4.5?) and upgrade a defender or 2 (barco to 4.5 etc)

    Haaland + Salah Draft:
    RAYA TURNER
    KONSA BARCO ANDERSEN VIRGIL BURN
    ESR EZE SALAH ROGERS GORDON
    HAALAND ISAK WOOD

    No Haaland Draft
    RAYA TURNER
    KONSA BARCO ANDERSEN VIRGIL BURN
    ESR EZE SALAH FODEN GORDON
    WATKINS ISAK SOLANKE

    No Salah Draft:
    RAYA TURNER
    KONSA BARCO ANDERSEN TAA BURN
    ESR EZE JOTA GARNACHO GORDON
    HAALAND ISAK SOLANKE

This season is very confusing...and I am seeing the benefits of all 3 options, but currently leaning towards No Haaland.
