João Pedro was playing quite deep it seems.
Still worth trading Solanke for him, or is there a better option within the price range?

I guess there's two ways to look at Watkins.

    - He's due a return with the missed chances over the 2 games
    - Regression due to over performance last season

Yes, but he is 9.0 now. I would have to sell Muniz and Nkunku for him and Rogers (-4). The way he is playing he might even lose his starting place. Unlikely, but not impossible with CL starting soon.

Yes, I agree. But even Rashford has been dropped and that was considered unlikely. It was to get pressure off. Duran has scored one goal and has been better. So there is perhaps 5-10% risk for that. His xMins are getting lower imo. But when the ketchup bottle effect happens, Watkins is very fast in my team.

Can't believe I'm on a huge green arrow with no Arsenal or Spurs assets, no TC

Still 6 players to go, so must be a lot of hits taken I assume...?

48k overall with Trent, Porro, Salah, ESR, Haaland, Isak, Havertz and others.

Haaland TC today and open to playing aggressively to attack the fixtures.

    2FT

    a) Just do Zinchenko > 4.5

    b) Zinchenko > 4.5 + Garnacho > Mbeumo/Mitoma/Savio

    c) Zinchenko > 4.5 + Minteh > Rogers (0.5 to upgrade elsewhere)

    c) Wildcard and improve the rest of my squad

    Henderson 4.0

    TAA Porro Zinchenko Mosquera Barco

    Salah Garnacho ESR Minteh 4.5

    Haaland Havertz Isak

I think A is the best option. It'll be nice to have 2FT for the international break leading up to GW4

Congrats, despite having Eze (and Munoz), have 93 points today (average GW1). and TC Haaland.

17k with Jota, Trent and Isak to play.

      Best ever start 🙂

      I don't want to start a post

    Sa | Henderson
    Gvardiol | Gabriel | Robinson | Quansah | Barco
    Saka | Jota | Gordon | Smith-Rowe | Iroegbunam
    Haaland | Isak | Muniz

1FT, 1.5 itb. Original plan was to move Haaland out for Watkins this week and get Foden in, but him not starting and Watkins not doing too well this week has made me pause on that for now. Any other suggestions?

I dont have Haaland but i do have Son as captain.

    1 point difference.

If you nail the captaincy more often than not I don't feel the need for Haaland, especially when the cheap enablers haven't shown themselves yet

Is this what its going to be like all season? Haaland teams vs the none Haaland teams?

Agreed to be honest, although it does seem the likes of Smith-Rowe, Rogers, and Minteh might be good enough season-long picks to make it work.

3 million green arrow today without his hat trick

He's not scoring a hat trick every week

Be interesting to see what the ranks are like after 5/10 weeks

It's a big ask to nail the captaincy each week though and betting against the best player in the game seems unsustainable

The way I see it is I’m 18 points down with Salah (C) to go.

Son offsetting the other 16 points Haaland got

So basically need one Salah return to be better off 2 weeks on the trot

"If you nail the captaincy" I guess you summed it up right there.

Haaland at 15M is that expensive because he is a very reliable captain. But as you say, if you are able to consistently pick good captains then you could come out ahead

ESR - how was he today? Saw he got a goal and 3 bonus which is awesome. However, do we thinks mins is a worry?

I already, like a lot of us, have triple FUL so looking tempting to move to Rogers to try be ahead of the curve, which would also let me go Saka to Salah.

Why on earth would you sell starboy Saka? He's fixture proof and looking brilliant

Fair point, ARS along wirh City are the only two i’d render fixture proof, however, if there were a time for me to swap to Mo it would be for the upcoming run and perhaps WC Saka back in

Accidental triple Fulham really isn’t where I was expecting to be GW3, but it happens. If I sell Haaland he’s the midfielder I’d be looking to upgrade.
