    Would you WC that team?

    Henderson
    Poro Gvardiol Robinson
    Salah Maduake Gordon Eze
    Haaland Isak Moniz

    Vald Jonson Winks Barco

    Is there anyone on WC actually not going with Haaland?

    Balance so much better but terrifying without.

      I can see why people are going without until GW7, he can’t score a hattrick every week and could well blank in GW5 and 6

      If he blanks it’s almost a disaster for owners

      It was between Haaland + Solanke (Welbeck placeholder) and Salah + Watkins for me

      Salah + Watkins should score more in the next 4 GWs, but I reeeeeally don't want to book that GW7 hit to finally get Haaland

      I was planning on going without but the fear is setting back in and I’m trying to fit him back in lol. Really depends if he can outscore saka + trent until gw 7. My main issue is I don’t really fancy any striker that isn’t him rn

      It’s a viable strategy which could enable you to get a more balanced team with Salah and Palmer and Saka…but you’ll gonna need Haaland at the latest for GW8.

      I am going without him on WC , he is still the best player in the game but would rather back 2 or 3 players with better fixtures and just bring him in for GW7-9 with 3/4 FT , there will be WC carnage over the IB if he blanks vs West Ham

      It's the popular attackers who face the worst-looking defences this week, so not exactly punty: City, Pool, Newcastle, Spurs, Villa, Chelsea, Palace, Fulham, Brentford, Forest... And Semenyo

      Strand Larsen (allowed me to get in Palmer)
      Also had Rice in from the start because of set pieces and playing more advanced so hoping he bags this weekend as had a fair few opportunities so far

    x - 4.0
    x - Robinson - Lewis - 4.0 - 4.0
    x - Salah - Palmer - Saka - Rogers
    Haaland - J Pedro - 4.5

        Yes. I think I will play him as long as he keeps starting.

        I disagree, as a football player, he's rich enough already. When he is older which will he be more proud of, the £££ he has in the bank or the trophies he could have potentially won?

          “rich enough” - what does it mean?

          Only Ivan Toney can say that he is or isn’t “rich enough”. Once you get accustomed to certain lifestyle your habits and expectations change.

          How do you know?
          Do you what his plans are for retirement?
          How many dependents he have?
          What sort of legacy he wants to leave for his family?

          You can’t just say “oh he’s a footballer, he’s earned enough”.
          That’s straight up commie shite.

            Haha loving the "Commie" comment, I'm guessing he's been earning at the very least 60k a week for the last few years. That's over £3m a year! He'd want to have a serious amount of dependents to spend that and that's just one season!

            Would you be arsed going to Saudi for a few years where it's a poor standard of football and not really a good place to live for the extra cash, or try and win trophies that you dreamed of winning as a child?! When you're older the memories would far outweigh it for me.

            Each to their own I guess!

              I can't see he would have been earning that sort of money at Peterborough, Shrewsbury or Scunthorpe, or even Brentford when they were in the Championship. He's wealthy by our standards (I presume, not knowing any of you), but in terms of top-flight strikers, he may well consider himself a bit of a pauper.

                Yeah fair enough but my point is that he can live more than comfortably (by our standards) but when I am older I think I'd value the memories of winning something a lot more than the £££ in the bank.

    Being patient and holding Nkunku hasnt worked out very well.....Would love a view on the below:

    A)
    GW3: Play Nkunku this week (home to Palace) - with Sangare as 1st sub. Save FT so can do:
    GW4: Saka / Nkunku / Muniz -> Palmer / Smith Rowe / Solanke (-4)

    B)
    GW3: Nkunku -> Smith Rowe (free) [ dbl up with Muniz vs IPS]
    GW4: Saka / Muniz -> Palmer / Solanke (-4)

    I know defensive is weak but is this too risky with poor subs? It’s my current team

      Don't understand the appeal of going all out on premiums when you up with 2 attacking spots, seems a waste

        Thanks for the input that’s why I’m asking

        Personally I rate midfielders higher than strikers but maybe your right

      Calculate realistic points in each position, then account for captaincy too... And too many premiums can heavily dent the team's overall points. I'd pick one/two main captains and then maximize the rest of the funds for total possible points

        That’s fair, worked well last week but maybe not next week

    B) Davis

    Guess it's finally time to sell Solanke. Have 1.0 in the bank.

    Henderson
    TAA Gabriel Robinson
    Jota Bruno Eze ESR Rogers
    Isak Haaland

    4.0 Hall Barco Solanke

    Thinking Solanke to Watkins and Hall to a 4.0. Which 4.0 is nailed with a bit of potential at the moment? Would only need him to replace Robinson down the line when he has a tricky fixture. Any other ideas please? And bench ESR or Rogers? Thanks.

        Fair enough. Yeah comments on Watkins sound promising and fixtures are great. I will stop being lazy and research 4.0 defenders!

      Doing the exact same thing,

      I'm looking to bring in Greaves (Ipswich) for Hall to enable Solanke to Watkins.

        Hmm yeah I'm looking at Leicester or Ipswich. Greaves pretty nailed? Greaves or Vestegaard for me

        I find it hard to come up with other ideas to free up the 0.5. I'm not ready to ship Isak just yet, and while I see Bruno as a question mark, that's a slot you would be looking to upgrade not downgrade.

    Re-think:

    A) Keep and play Nkunku this week (Sangare 1st sub). 2FT next week [Nkunku->Palmer // Muniz->Solanke // Saka->ESR]

    B) Nkunku & Saka -> Palmer & Mbeumo. -4.

      I wouldn't sell saka for -4

    Best combo?

    A) Muniz, Salah, Palmer and ESR
    B) Watkins, Jackson (Solanke when fit), Palmer and Diaz
    C) Watkins, Jackson (Solanke when fit), Salah and ESR
    D) Watkins, Muniz, Salah and Eze

      Steele's getting a lot of love but I'm still thinking Henderson will come good.

        Steele might be dropped as soon as this week, even

    Interesting post regarding Haaland v Salah v both and overall rank. Highlights the importance of other picks in your team.

      Interesting I scored 106 points last week (Haaland captain. ) but someone in my league beat me without Haaland but had Pamer!
