@FPLGeneral
With the next Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline almost upon us, we’re getting insight and team reveals from our panel of Hall of Famers and guest writers. Here, three-time top 500 finisher FPL General talks through his Gameweek 6 Wildcard.
Make sure to check out the latest 59th Minute Podcast, which will be dropping on Friday afternoon.
Good luck this weekend folks, especially to my fellow Wildcarders.
everyone gonna be scrambling for Salah back over the next few weeks. just like people thought they were ok to drop Haaland pre-season.
Can’t wait to see that. Personally keeping Salah in my team
Or maybe everyone won't ....
a glut of pens and heads will be turned with the resulting hauls
can say that for any premium right now though bar Haaland
Everyone, really. What don’t you know?
No, he’s gone unless they have a DGW, no one is expecting him not to score points, many just know they won’t C him so will spread the funds so that other players can score points.
With Raya possibly out, for the GKe on a W"
A Sanchez or
B Flekken
And do I go for Palmer or TAA as a third premium with Haaland and Saka...?
B
Alisson still out?
Robertson to Saliba/Gabriel for -4?
Nope, hold.
All else being equal
1) salah & dibling.
2) Diaz & Watkins ?
2
2
Jota out Sterling in?
Absolutely not
Not sure if joking or not
Madness.
Live a little
Hi guys,
Is Raya definitely out?
A doubt, likely to be out. Could be Arteta playing mind games after dark arts accusations
Have a keeper as backup if on WC I guess
no
Thanks guys. Wish I had the money for a backup keeper lol.
Red spurs
ugh dragusin
wanted too see son and solanke link up, done now. pain
7 mins in, FFS.
Minteh to?
A) McNeil
B) Semenyo
C) ESR
D) Tavernier
B
I did B
thanks
1FT & 0.3itb
Raya
TAA Gabriel Lewis
Salah Eze Rogers Mitoma
Haaland Jackson Pedro
Fab Robinson Keane Winks
Can't see any decent options to replace Pedro or Winks for with the money I have.
So should I just do Eze > Mbuemo tonight before I'm priced out?
Similar midfield here, I’d do that move if I were you. Although I think that Eze will find points against porous Everton
impressive pressing by Solanke a, Johnson g. think it should be Solanke over Jackson for anyone that cares, Solanke fitting into the system nicely
Could you update this comment after 90 min? 🙂
Quite curious as he is on my watchlist haha
sure 🙂 sadly Spurs got a red though, attacking opportunities not as plentiful as they should've been
You don't get points for pressing though as a striker goals do that and he isn't exactly flying in that department.
fair point, but spurs' press could reap big rewards with how high they go but if the players doing it aren't good at it, ofc not as effective and less big chances gained from it.
Bohnson goal
Pedro to
A. Wood (rising tonight and better team)
B. DCL (better fixtures)
A
That's a big gamble on a WC if you don't have Raya news and 0 itb and no playing backup. Considering General is normally quite a 'safe' manager. Even if its a short term injury for a few weeks you're having to rip up some of your WC team just to get the funds to buy a keeper.
Ignore that last bit obviously you just sell Raya. I've not even had a drink I promise
Go have a drink. A Manhattan.
A)Raya and Jackson
B)Flekken and Havertz
B
A
What’s happening with Foden?
City’s fixtures look tasty from next week
Spurs looking pretty comfortable here, probably gonna end 3/4-1.
they're conceding at some point for sure but at least red card hasn't ruined the match
Yea, doesn't even look like 10 men. But yes, they will concede.
Best WC combo
Raya + Kerkez+ Jackson
Flekken+ dalot + havertz
Sanchez+ Collins+havertz
I like the Kerkez shout
I like it too, but not sure about Raya, so wondering the other options, considering flekken option
Who will score more in next 2 game weeks and longer term...
Watkins Vs Palmer....
I think Watkins
I think Watkins, everyone trying to feed him rather being part of a selection of big names.
I like the Kerkez punt
Reply fail
Best price change website atm?
Hub or fpl statistics for me
Damn kinda can’t look past the template Saka/Diaz/Mbeumo/Semenyo/Rogers midfield, no Salah the biggest fear tho
Mo will score this gameweek. But most wild carding are planning for the long hall. The midfield you mentioned is surely more solid long term.
Bohnson could be a great pick tbh
Any 4.0 keepers likely to play gw6.
No
Bugger looks like I am left with raya & fab
This draft look ok?
Ederson 4.0m
TAA Gab Colwill VDB Greaves
Saka Diaz Mbeumo Semenyo Rogers
Haaland Jackson DCL
0.8m ITB
yea
Why wouldn't it be ok?
Not sure if ederson is worth it
looks good. no to ederson with rodri out for the season imo, his ppg hasnt been great for a while.
I’m tempted with City’s fixtures but he doesn’t seem a popular pick, probably the for the reasons you’ve just pointed out. I might switch to Raya pending news tomorrow. Thanks!
A)TAA,Wood,Havertz
B)Konate,Havertz,Jackson
the one with havertz 😛
A
Not a difficult one here imo
So Tara wood v konate Jackson 🙂 taa wood imo
A
Anyone else tempted by Cunha who rotates so well with Rogers for gw 10 11 and 13 when wolves have awesome fixtures. Or is planning too much ahead and I should just go for wood
Too far away. You are allowed to make transfers down the line.
True. Will be planning next season at that rate haha
Larsen seems to be the one playing CF though
Cheers been pretty poor apparently. I won't overthink it and will go with wood.
Isak and jota to Wood and Saka (-4)?
Duran or wood?
Wood
Who would you replace here for garbriel?
A. Rico lewis
B. Mazroui
C. Digne
B
