This is the wildcard from hell. 😥

When will we stop giving FPL content creators so much money for appalling FPL advice?

    1. C0YS
      2 years, 24 days ago

Never lol. Tbh though, 1 GW isn’t enough to judge a WC by, especially if your players’ underlying stats warrant their selection

David Wardale wrote an amazing book called "wasting your wildcard" before the powers that be on here inexplicably fired him from scout. That's literally what I've done.

Only looks bad cus Arsenal conceded and Palmer exploded, most other picks good for the long term

Mind you I have no subscriptions and just watch the creators for the stats charts

I hate this narrative that content creators are forcing you to consume their content. You're addicted to the high. It's your decision. I don't care for many of the content creators but if YOU watch them and 'follow them' it's YOUR fault. Not reading or replying to any responses.

    Best transfer to make here?

    1. Get Palmer & Diaz by selling Salah & Eze
    2. Get Palmer & 4.0 Def by selling Eze & TAA
    3. Just get Diaz by moving a LIV defender along:
    a) Eze & Konate -> Diaz & Mazraoui
    b) Eze & TAA > Diaz & Gvardiol
    c) Eze & TAA -> Diaz & De Ligt

Is 1 too reactionary, or can it make sense to downgrade Salah to Diaz?

Don’t think Hub will be giving much different advice. They just seem to shill a lot more aggressively and shamelessly… like that dud transfer planner and AI rubbish half of FPL Twitter plugs each week

      1. Crunchie
        2 years, 24 days ago

        The AI = algorisms.

Periece changes are 99.6% accurate and in reality are 9.6% accurate.

It's not all that. I paid for one year with the password fiasco. It's much better here..

        1. Casual Player
          2 years, 24 days ago

Maybe one day the algos will be advanced and truly ruin the game, but at the moment I think they’re at best a timesaver rather than anything providing amazing insight. I usually arrive at a fairly similar team to the algo just through eyeballing some freely available content. The template isn’t rocket science

"With Phil in that position. He is maybe one of the best, he's so clever," Guardiola said. "[But] he's been out two months, three months, the best player in the league last season has been out. Today I would say he played the best minutes, really good in the assists and dynamic. I'm happy that step by step he is coming back."

He continued: "He is a long time injured and I prefer sometimes a player has an hour or 90 minutes. I know how strong they are, Gundo is so intelligent in defensive concepts and many things. That's why. In three days we have another one, in three, four days we have another one. There are games for everyone."

    Raya | Valdimarsson
    Guéhi | Aït-Nouri | Mykolenko | Andersen | Greaves
    Palmer | Saka | Mbeumo | McNeil | Dibling
    Haaland | Watkins | Solanke

-xGI per 90 of each attacker very high
    -All got good minutes
    -Great fixtures but Palmer
    -6 penalty takers

Think I hold one more week and assess. No Palmer is scary.

Remember a few seasons ago my WC team scored 26 points while my pre WC team would've scored 67. Though the WC team did end up doing well in the long run.
Yesterday's WC team wasn't my worst of all time, but with only Semenyo to go, it certainly has come close.

    TAA, Gabriel, Porro
    Salah, Palmer, Saka, Jota, Rogers

Watkins hasn’t even played yet. I think I’d lean Haaland over Salah if only 1 of them. I like Trent though and think it’s reactionary swapping to Gvardiol just cos he scored this week.
Maybe look at Salah Watkins to Haaland Mbeumo without a hit.
